"I think you should tell Brooke what happened," Indianna spoke up. "Tell her what Brandon said. About his reasons for why he's done what he has. It's not an excuse for his actions, but it explains a bit. I think she deserves to know."

Tai nodded, her voice was softer when she spoke about Brooke. "I'll tell her."

"Thank you," Indianna smiled.

"Is there anything else you have to say?" Greyson asked.

Ace shook his head. "No, that was it."

"In that case," Indianna said and stood up, she stretched and rubbed her stomach. Greyson didn't take his eyes off of her. "I'm going to check up on Alice."

"I'll see you in our room after, sugar?" Greyson called but his tone made it clear that it wasn't a question.

"Maybe," Indianna shrugged and walked out of the room. She weaved her way through many pack members to reach Kal's room where Alice was. She had only recently woke up and Kal was attempting to explain everything to her which was obviously a lot.

Indianna knocked on the door and entered. She smiled at Alice who was looking slightly pale. Kal was sat across from her on the bed with Sasha. "How are you doing?" Indianna asked.

"Let me get this straight," Alice said. She took a deep breath. "So, there's this guy that I've never met, but he's meant to be the guy that I'm destined to be with and I don't get a choice in the matter? And he's currently underground in a cell? You live above a dungeon? That's fucking weird. And I have to be with a guy that I've never met because he's a werewolf and apparently I'm his mate so that means I'm stuck with him? That's fucking weird. Also, I was kidnapped by Indie's brother who is mentally insane and he's the one that raped Brooke? That's just fucked up, man."

Indianna blinked. "You managed to cover everything then," she said to Kal.

"Pretty much," he nodded, replying to Indianna and Alice at the same time.

"Are you sure I'm not dreaming?" Alice asked Sasha.

"Sadly not," Sasha replied.

"Also, Brooke's pregnant," Kal added.

"Brooke's pregnant!" Alice yelled. "Oh my god, I'm going to be a godmother! Dibs on the godmother. I was kidnapped, I get to use the pity card to make sure I'm godmother."

"After all that, this is the information that you yell at?" Kal said, raising his eyebrows at his sister.

"I love babies."

"No, you don't. You say that all they do is shit, eat and sleep. You hate babies."

"I love Brooke so I'm going to love her baby. And yours, Indie. Any other babies can fuck off."

"She seems like her normal self," Indianna commented.

"I want to meet this weird, stalker dude that I'm meant to fall in love with," Alice said. "I also want food because that Rogue dude did not provide food that was up to my standards."

"You're not seeing him," Kal said. "And I'll get you some food."

"You said he's my soulmate or whatever. Why can't I see him?"

"I don't trust him," Kal said. "He was working for Rogue."

"By the sounds of it he was being forced to do Rogue's bidding because he didn't want me to get hurt," Alice said. "Sounds like my freaking knight in shining armour. Let me meet the damn man. He better be cute. If he's ginger I want another soulmate because our hair cannot clash. That would be awful."

Indianna couldn't help but chuckle. "Kal, she has the right to see him," Indianna pointed out.

"I don't trust him!" Kal protested.

"Kal, you once put dye in my shampoo and turned my hair green. I don't trust you and you're my brother!" Alice exclaimed.

Kal narrowed his eyes. "He's staying in the cells," he said. "Greyson will decide if we let him out."

"We're not keeping him locked up," Indianna said firmly. "Alice is right. He only did what he did because he was trying to protect her. You would do the same for Kimberly and you know that Greyson would do that for me. We can't punish him for trying to protect his mate. You forget that Rogue destroyed his pack. He's an Alpha with no pack. He has nothing apart from Alice."

"Why do you always have to sound so damn reasonable?" Kal huffed.

"I just wanted to make sure that you're okay," Indianna said to Alice. "If you need anything then give me a shout."

"Thanks, Indie," Alice smiled and Indianna left the room, making her way to her own room.

On the way, she bumped into Brooke. "How's Raiden?"

"He's heartbroken," Brooke sighed. "I just left him so he could get some sleep. He wasn't very talkative. Hopefully, he will be more with it tomorrow."

"Have you spoken to Tai yet?" Indianna asked.

"No, Ace just mind linked me asking me to meet them," Brooke said. "I'm on my way to them now."

"I won't hold you up," Indianna said and she quickly hugged the curly girl tightly. "I'm so glad to have you back."

Brooke smiled. "It's good to be back."

The girls separated and Indianna carried on to her room. She was surprised to see Greyson sitting on her bed when she entered. "What are you doing here?"

"I had a feeling you wouldn't come to my room, so I thought I'd meet you here."

"I was just going to shower and then I was going to come to yours," Indianna said honestly.

"You can shower in my room," Greyson said. He stood up. "Come on."

"I needed to get clean clothes."

"I have clothes," Greyson said.

Indianna rolled her eyes and went over to her wardrobe, gathering a few items of clothing. "I'm still annoyed at you. You were an ass earlier."

"You always think I'm an ass," Greyson groaned.

"That's true," Indianna admitted.

"I'm sorry and I love you," Greyson said. "Am I forgiven?"

"Are you going to be more polite in the future?"

"Are you going to be in my bed tonight?" Greyson challenged, narrowing his eyes at Indianna.

"Do you even need to ask?" Indianna said and rolled her eyes. "I thought you were dead, of course, I'm going to be with you tonight. Annoyed or not, I'm stuck with you and I want to hug you. We've got lots of lost time to make up for."

Greyson smirked. "Then let's go." He grabbed Indianna's hand and pulled her out of her room and to his. She felt more comfortable in his room. She felt at home.

"Home sweet home," Greyson said, closing the door behind them.

"Get out of my head," Indianna said and walked into the bathroom. She left the door open as she turned the shower on, placed the clothes she had brought with her on the side, and undressed.

"God." She heard Greyson groan. He was looking at Indianna from his room, his eyes taking in every inch of her. "You look so hot pregnant."

Indianna hid a smile and got into the shower. She let the hot water soothe her muscles and she tried to relax as much as she could. It had been an intense day. It wasn't going to get any easier. She sighed and closed her eyes, letting the steaming water run over her face. She had almost forgotten what life was life before. She hadn't felt peace for a long time. She wondered what life would be like once this was all over. Would she be able to raise her children without the fear of Rogue hovering over her shoulder?

After a long shower, Indianna finally stepped out and wrapped herself in a towel. She changed into her pyjama's and stared at her reflection in the bathroom mirror. With Greyson back, she looked so much more alive. She looked youthful again. Even her bump seemed to be bigger, which could be seen clearly because of her cropped pyjama top. Greyson had filled her with energy and power she didn't know she was missing.

"Sugar," Greyson called. He was lying on his bed in grey joggers and his chest was bare. "Come to me."

Indianna made her way to the bed and climbed in next to Greyson. He wrapped his arms around her and sighed, kissing her head. "I want all of this to be over," she said after a moment of silence.

"It will be soon."

"I don't want to being our children into a world where Rogue exists."

"Neither do I," Greyson muttered. He looked at Indianna's stomach and placed his hand over it. "I'm going to make sure they have a happy life. A safe one."

"I'm seventeen weeks pregnant next week," Indianna whispered. She placed her hand over Greyson's. "On Christmas Day."

"Christmas," Greyson breathed and shook his head. "Shit. I completely forgot."

"We'll have a bloody amazing one next year," Indianna said hopefully. "To make up for this one awful one."

"I've got you and my family. That's all I want for Christmas," Greyson said. "So, if you're seventeen weeks next week, how long do you have left after that?"

"Seven weeks," Indianna said. Butterflies formed in her stomach. "God, we've got just under eight weeks to prepare for two babies."

"We'll manage. It also means we've got just under eight weeks to get rid of Rogue."

"Two months," Indianna said and swallowed. "We can do that, right?"

Greyson smiled when there was a small kick from inside Indianna's stomach. She gasped and looked up at Greyson who nodded as there was another kick. He winked at Indianna and said, "they seem to think we can."
