Terra, a lost Omega in her pack, has always understood her station—below everyone else. But despite being at the bottom of the food chain, she's loved and adored, particularly when a lost boy named Damian comes to their territories. Having no memory of who he is, Damian finds solace in Terra, and she in him. They form a connection that's full of promise and hope for a future that's hers at last—until it all falls apart. Damian starts to transform. He is distant and cold, attracted to a different girl who seems to understand him in ways Terra never had. The pain of the betrayal is bad enough, but the worst pain is the mystery of his true nature. Who is Damian, truly? And why did he leave the passion they shared so readily? Determined to find out what is going on, Terra calls for the assistance of her loyal best friend, Bryan. The search leads to an astonishing discovery: Damian is the offspring of Delton, the infamous Alpha of the Lunar Pack. With this discovery, Terra hatches a daring plan—gain Delton's trust to find out more about Damian and determine how to reclaim him. But the scheme goes awry in the most unlikely way. Delton is not what she expected. He's powerful, and forceful, and awakens a side of Terra she never realized she possessed. As their taboo desire intensifies, Terra is torn between two powerful attachments—her past love for Damian, and the allure of the Alpha who is off-limits. What begins as a journey for reclaimed love becomes something sinister. The more Delton Terra finds out, the more she understands that she might have been pursuing the wrong man—and the wrong fate—entirely.

Chapter 1

01

Terra P.O.V

“Get out of here, Terra!”

Damian’s voice sliced through the silence like a jagged blade. Each word was laced with venom, his eyes colder than I’d ever seen them. He shoved me—harder than he ever had before.

But I still remember the day we loved each other. The day even earth can’t separate us.

I stumbled backward, heels skidding across the marble floor we had once chosen together so carefully. Another shove and I collapsed, palms slapping against the chill of that pristine surface. It mocked me now, this polished perfection, as if laughing at every hope we’d laid into the tile.

It wasn’t supposed to be like this. This condo—our supposed sanctuary—had become a prison of betrayal. We had built this life piece by piece, from Sunday morning coffee runs to sketching out wedding plans on restaurant napkins. I believed him. I trusted him. Damian was my world. But the man towering above me now wasn’t the one I loved.

He was a stranger when he arrived and now he became a stranger again when he left.

He had never been part of the pack—I’d known that. But I thought love could bridge that gap. I was wrong. I was an Omega, always fighting for a place, always proving myself. And Damian? He was supposed to be the exception. The man who saw me beyond rank or bloodline.

But now, his cold eyes reminded me exactly how powerless I truly was.

“Please, Damian.” My voice cracked, thick with tears I couldn’t hold back any longer. “You said you’d love me forever. You promised. Just… tell me this isn’t real. Tell me this is some twisted joke.”

He looked down at me, expression unreadable. Once, those eyes had been warm. Now, they were stone.

“I’m not yours anymore.”

No slap, no punch, could’ve hurt worse. Those words—sharp and deliberate—shattered whatever was left of my heart. He wasn’t just leaving. He was erasing us.

“And now, leave. Before Loraine sees you.”

Loraine. That name burned like acid.

I’d caught them two weeks ago, lips locked in a kiss that turned my stomach inside out. And still, like a fool, I’d clung to the hope that we could fix it. That it was a mistake. That he’d choose me.

“You’ll regret this, Damian!” I screamed, voice shaking, raw with rage and heartbreak. “I swear to god, you’ll regret this!”

I stormed out of the condo, blinking back tears, my vision blurring from both fury and grief. My chest aches like it was being crushed from the inside, betrayal wrapping around my ribs like chains.

Outside, Bryan stood by the gate, face painted with concern the moment he saw me. I tried to compose myself, wiping my eyes, pretending I wasn’t falling apart. But my trembling hands betrayed me.

“Did you find out?” I asked, voice small, breathless.

He hesitated. “Yes. But you’re not going to believe it.”

“Just tell me!” I snapped.

“Damian… he’s the son of Alpha Delton.”

My heart froze. “What? Who?”

Bryan exhaled. “Alpha Delton. The head of the Lunar Pack—one of the strongest packs in the region. Damian never told you?”

“No,” I whispered. “He said he had no family. That he was homeless.”

Everything tilted.

He wasn’t just some drifter who loved me. He was the heir to one of the most powerful packs in existence. And he never said a word.

Why hide something so massive?

What else had he lied about?

“I need more,” I said, voice firmer now. “I need to know where his father is.”

Bryan looked uncertain. “Terra, maybe it’s better if you walk away.”

But I couldn’t. Not yet. Not without answers.

“I need to do this. Please. I don't want to leave here alone hanging myself with questions.”

That night, I stared at my phone, scrolling through every picture of Damian and me. Each memory pierced like a dagger—laughing in the kitchen, late-night drives, sleepy mornings.

Was any of it real?

What changed him?

I wasn’t ready to give up. Not like this. Not without fighting.

I pulled on a red dress that hugged my curves and heels that made me stand taller than I felt. My heart was shattered, but if I was going to face Alpha Delton, I needed to look unbreakable.

I called Bryan. “Take me to the Midnight Bar.”

He paused. “Are you sure?”

“I have to do this.”

Five minutes later, Bryan pulled up. The drive was silent, tension hanging between us.

The Midnight Bar oozed power—expensive suits, dominant auras, wolves who wore their status like a second skin.

I stepped in, my eyes scanning the room.

Before I could get far, a man blocked my path. His lear was predatory, his hand latching onto my wrist.

“Hey, sexy. Dance with me,” he growled, trying to pull me close.

“Sorry, not interested.” I held up both hands to keep him away.

“Come one, babe.” he kept pushing himself to mine.

“No. Let me go,” I said sharply, trying to pull free.

His grip only tightened—until a voice cut through the noise.

This asshole! He's not the reason why I am here. I better get off of him before it's too late.

“Is there any problem here?”

The man instantly released me, backing off like a scalded pup.

I turned.

The man standing a few feet away was older with us, commanding. His voice wasn’t loud, but it didn’t have to be. Authority radiated from him like heat.

“You alright?” he asked, eyes scanning me. There was something eerily familiar in his expression—his jawline, his presence…

He have similarity to… to him

“I’m fine,” I whispered.

“And you are?” I asked, though I already knew.

His face was too similar.

“I’m Delton. The owner.”

I froze.

Delton. Damian’s father. The Alpha.

Now, maybe, I'll finally get the truth. I just need to go deeper.

I don’t want to waste time right now. I couldn't sleep in peace without knowing the truth behind Damian. I have to do this. I want to get him back.
