“So, you came to me just to tell me about this?” Martin nodded in agreement and stared at Jade gently while he asked in a teasing tone.

“No.” In comparison, Jade’s expression was much more serious. She spoke while she took out a black thumb drive and placed it in front of Martin. “I want to tell you that you’ve been hating the wrong person all these years.”

Staring at the old, used thumb drive with its paint peeling off, a glint instantly filled his eyes. He subconsciously held it in his hands and asked, “What is it?”

Jade’s expression became softer. When she heard his response, she just calmly took a sip of the tea before she answered, “I’m not staying in the previous house, so I wanted to clear some things out. Two days ago, I found this thumb drive in my father’s room, and it contains things that you’ll be interested in.”

She paused for a while, and when she saw his expression darken, she calmly added, “He was already sick at that time, so he might not remember this thumb drive
