Day 16: Part 1

Chance had two more days to cover in the peds, one of which was only clinic duty. Meanwhile, after two days Terrence was reinstated as well. Things were starting to fall back in place for both of them, with Chance starting his rotation in general surgery, while Terrence was getting acquainted with his work schedule.

“I see you are back.” Dr. McGrath was the first one to greet him. Having had the night shift, he was the only one who was here at this hour. “So, what did you do on your holiday?” 

“It wasn’t a holiday. It was a suspension.” Terrence scoffed, shaking his head.

“You get to take days off, and you get paid.” Dr. McGrath pointed out. “Tell me you at least enjoyed these days.”
