Chapter 88: Lunch?

“You’re really just going to let Scarlett get away with this?”

Adriel’s words continuously rang in the back of Aria’s mind. She had thought about telling Cedric that she doesn’t have anything to do with Scarlett’s injury, of course. But she doesn’t know how to ultimately prove her innocence.

If she just approaches Cedric and verbally tell him about what had happened, there’s no guarantee that he’s going to believe her. Moreover, it seems like he already believes Scarlett’s story—probably because they have more history with each other.

Then yet again, she doesn’t want to stop right here. If she lets herself be intimidated by this situation, then why the hell did she go to such lengths just to tell Cedric about her feelings?

She shook her head and stood up from her seat.

Maybe I’m too old fashion but Aria need to let it go……she is too desperate to be back in Cedric good graces….I’m really upset that as a woman she is not more confident in herself to let it go and move on
