Chapter 55: A Meal with the Family

On the day of his proposal, Callum and Caleb went back to the city to bring the good news to the family. They already set the family visit the next week and they made it seem that Callum was the one excited about the wedding.

He already wanted to establish Bea’s position in the family so that no one would look down on her. After his talk with Bea’s father, Callum promised himself that he will protect Bea even against his family members. He would make sure that his father would have no qualms about him marrying her.

It would not be easy for her but since he was the one who chose her and she accepted him, it would be his duty to protect her from the situation that he put her in. He would make sure that Bea would be the happiest wife that existed on the phase of the earth. She was just so precious that Callum already have thoughts that she deserved even the whole world.
