Six.

Amaly POV

It’s been a year since my brother has stepped in his role as the Alpha King. I was on my way to see Allen. Something just didn’t feel right with me.

It turns out on the faithful night of the Blood Moon, we weren’t fated mates. It hurt me so much because the love between us grew so strong. But recently he’s been distant. I haven’t seen Allen for almost 3 weeks which has been strange.

~~Flashback 6 months ago—

We were on the way to a surprise Allen said he set up.

He was driving us in one of his many cars. But this time, it was a Jeep wrangler. He said it was to make sure we could cross the river and harsh rocks.

As we pull up, the scenery surrounding was beautiful. In a little piece of land, surrounded by nothing but water, there was a small little cabin. You can tell there was a fire going inside.

“How do we get to it?” I asked.

“Easy babe. On the boat. I thought it would be romantic for me to paddle us there. You can see my arm muscle flexing.” He wiggles his brows and winks. I couldn’t help the giggles that escaped.

We carefully get out the boat as he hoist me and carries me.

“I want you to know how important you are to me. I have always put you first and your happiness means everything.” He says so lovingly looking to my eyes.

“I know that.” I say. There’s a part of me that’s telling me I don’t belong here.

He opens the door to the cabin, and it’s filled with roses everywhere. Candles placed in different areas. The whole vibe was so romantic. I turned to him, “Allen, this is beautiful. You shouldn’t have done this.”

“To me, your the most beautiful person I know and deserve the sun, the stars, and the moon.” He really always went all out for me and never once made me feel any different.

“My father had this cabin built for my mother. It was their get away. But since my mother’s death, he would never visit again until he brought me, in hopes that we were intertwined. My father loves you and prays to the goddess that we become one.” Smiling as he says that.

But doesn’t he doubt it since a part of me feels off? Has he? Or was it just me?

Turns out my intuition was right. The moon goddess played both of us. But in the moment we spent heartbroken, we promised to stay by each others side, kissed and still made love to one another.

We vowed that if in one year, our mates did not find their way to us. We would chose each other and mark one another. It was more for him then for me. He was ready to mark me.

I think my parents were a little happy to know we weren’t fated to each other.

We both knew that fate was going to play with both of us…

Pulling up to the pack house, I walk to his office to see no one around. I knew a lot of the pack members were on the training ground. Maybe he’s upstairs so that’s where I headed.

I knew the Alpha floor as I have been here many times. Walking up the steps, a few omegas stop to say hi, but in their faces was a bit of embarrassment and ashamed.

Worried of what I would see. My nerves bugging me.

I stopped in front of his bedroom door.

“Mmmmmm ohhhh”

Wait….. Is that??? No……. Did i hear wrong??

“Allen fuckkkkkkk I’m cominggggggg”

“Who do you belong to? Say it” I heard Allen thrusting and grunting.

“YOURS ALPHA. YOURS!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!”

At that very moment, my heart broke. I opened the door to see Allen look up at me, stunned and ashamed.

“Who the fuck are you?” The girl ask me.

“Amaly… wait.. I’m sorry. Can we talk?”

“Wait, is that the princess? Omg I’m so sorry your majesty?”

I starred in shock. Not knowing what to do but turn around and slowly descended down the stairs.

“Ana, please dress yourself. And meet me in the office. We’ll both explain the truth. The one thing I can’t do is lie to her.”

“Amaly, please can we talk in the office?” Allen says hurt in his tone.

“Please call me Princess going forward. We are no longer in the position where I will accept you.” I say without trying to feel so hurt.

“I’m sorry Princess, please go to my office.”

We’re walking to his office and he tries to hold me with his arm on my back and I grabbed it, throwing it off my body. The hurt in his eyes.

“I’m sorry. I just don’t ….” He starts to stutter.

“You’re MARKED!” I exclaimed

He grabs my hand to rush me into his office.

“We’re fated mates!”

Silence.

“How long?” The hurt in my voice.

“We found each other 5 months ago. She’s the daughter of Alpha Ares, Alpha of Moon Glaze Pack. One of the packs I’ve visited to sign a treaty.” I can hear the sadness in his tone and I know he truly didn’t want to hurt me.

“5 months? We were still intimate and you were still coming to see me and I to you. Allen, when did you start fucking her?” I said with disgust.

“When I first saw her…”

“ALLEN WHAT THE FUCK!! Do you realize that she could have felt pain the whole time we fucked? You could have told me and we could have ended it then and there. I would never come in between fated mates no matter how much it hurt me.” I started crying knowing I just lost the man I loved for a year and half.

He starts to come towards me, “stop, please don’t touch me.”

“Princess Amaly.” I hear his mate say. She walks towards me and kneels in front. I should be mad and her a kill her but why? That’s her mate, not mines.

“I knew of you and we have tried to stay a part. We tried. The mate bond is powerful. He was honest with me about you and I tried to stay away. But my wolf wouldn’t let me. Somehow she would take over and I would wake up beside him.”

“But you never rejected him if you really tried?” Yes i was being a bitch.

“You’re absolutely right. I’m truly sorry. I was hoping he would tell you the truth and this is not how I wanted it to happen.” She says like she truly regrets it.

“I’m ok. You’re both marked. There’s no reason for me to still be here and interfere in a bond my ancestors created. You both have my blessings. But I hope you succeed in being his Luna. He’s a great person. I look at both of them and stood up.

“I will take my leave.”

I honestly didn’t know how to feel. Lost. Empty. Ok. Happy. Free?

“Amaly..”

“Alpha Allen, I suggest you use my title please. Please don’t respect me again.”

“How does it feel to be a whore sleeping with an alpha that doesn’t belong to you!” Says a long blonde hair she wolf.

“Stacia, please apologize to the princess. She did not know” Ana says.

“Apologize to an Alpha whore? Who else have you being whoring huh?”

It happened so fast, my hand on her throat squeezing. Her gasping for air. Through gritted teeth, Akira comes up front “Call me a whore again! The true whore is you. You will never be a Luna being you. Your jealousy shows. Your sister finding her mate, that’s an alpha that has accepted her. But you? Your alpha rejected you. Why? Because he know you bedded other alphas.”

Her eyes rounded and shoved herself off me. “You know nothing.” And she stormed inside the pack house.

“Next time, if she ever disrespects me, I will not hold back in killing your sister Luna Ana.” I tell her and she nods fearful for her sister.

I get in my car and drive.

Where?

I don’t know..

Just drive to gather my thoughts.
