Chapter fourteen

Grace's POV

I could barely sleep a wink since I received that bunch of strange roses last night.

My worst nightmare is back again, I never imagined this walking time bomb would ever be able to get out of the jail but I guess I was wrong.

That horrible jerk is the reason why I'm living like this today.

He threw my once happy family into a sea of despair and he is still not satisfied.

"What!" I shrieked at Hannah as she tapped me out of my thoughts.

I have been snappy and irritated today.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you but the phone you ordered is ready," she replied, surprised by my attitude.

Apparently I lost my phone during the accident and I had to ask for another one, I'm glad it's here because I have been wanting to talk to mom for a week now.

She will be worried if she doesn't hear from me for so long.

After waiting for eternity the call finally got through but I got disappointed when it wasn't her voice that sounded from the other end.
