Chapter 11

Five years later…

The airport was congested with people coming and going, three figures- one big and two small, walked through the group of people, and out of the terminal .

“Mummy, why hasn’t grandpa and aunt Claire come to pick us up yet?”

Liam Williams a handsome little boy asked the woman beside him who was dressed in a skinny jeans with long coat.

Stephanie tiptoed through the crowd, peering into the distance. “I don’t know they should have arrived by now .”

Stephanie glanced at the two little ones , she was supposed to have one child, yet fate twisted the plan and brought twins. “You have to wait for your grandfather and aunt Claire here, I’m going to the hospital. Tell grandpa I’ll be back soon.

“Ok!” The two nodded in unison.

So Stephanie walked towards the exit where a car was already waiting for her.

“Brother , I want to use the restroom !” Lily Williams said.

Liam looked around, there was a restroom not far away “”alright, go ahead ,and hurry back .”

Lily finished in the restroom and smoothed her clothes before heading out . She accidentally bumped into someone and fell down . “Ouch!”

“You bumped into me,” Lily said in a childish tone, yet her eyes held a reproachful look.

Nathan Robinsons heard the sound coming from a beautifully dressed little girl sitting on the ground. He was amazed by her small temper, “are you alright little one?” He asked as he crouched down and tried to help her up, Then he froze, she looked just like the little girl In his memory , with those dark hazel eyes.

“Of course I’m not…” before she could finish, Lily froze, stunned by the handsome face looming nearer , the man before her was truly heart stirring , and he even looked familiar, he looked like her big brother.

“Mister, you look so much like my big brother!” Lily exclaimed.

“Really, and you look just like a woman i know.” Nathan Robinson said .

“Where is your big brother and your parents?” Nathan couldn’t help but asked.

“My brother is waiting for me outside and dad is hard to find, see you again mister .” With that she walked away.

Nathan watched her go, smiling helplessly. He couldn’t shake off the feeling that the little girl is connected to the lady he has been looking for.

“Let’s go, brother.” Lily said .

Liam looked at her. “What took you so long?”

Lily smiled mysteriously . “I met a super handsome man near the restroom, and guess what? Brother, he looks a lot like you, and he said i look like a woman he knows , do you think he is our daddy?

Liam paused when he heard this . He has been secretly searching for their father all this years , he didn’t want to ask Stephanie because he didn’t know what transpired between her and their father and didn’t want to upset her. But before he could open his mouth to respond, he heard their grandpa’s voice.

“Liam! Lilly!”

Liam and Lilly snapped back to reality and ran to the old man not far away.

“Grandpa!” They both shouted in unison and threw themselves into Shane Williams arms .

“Grandpa,I’ve finally met you! I missed you so much ,” Lily said joyfully.

“Me too,” Liam said.

Shane Williams looked down at the two little ones , filled with overwhelming emotion. They had only communicated through video calls for the past five years . Now that he had seen them, he was so excited that he didn’t know what to say.

“Grandpa missed the two of you, too.”

“Liam! Lilly! Grandpa!” Here you are .

Suddenly a familiar Voice rang out in the air,

Lily turned and saw Claire approaching them, he left her grandpa and ran to Claire.

“Aunty Clare, what took you so long?”

“Sorry my love I was delayed by traffic.” Claire said as she hug her.

“Alright, let’s get back now , we can talk when we get home!” Shane Williams said as he approached them. They got into the car and left.

At Crimson Research Center.

Even before Stephanie arrived the Crimson Research Center was already buzzing with Gossip.

“I heard the new vice dean coming to the company today is a woman .”

“I heard she is so young, can she really handle this position?”

“So? Although she is so Young, she is reportedly a renowned cardiac surgeon who has made history in country F.” Another chimed.

“Exactly , I heard she is one of the best surgeons who graduated from the famous Finland Heart Research Center, and when our dean heard she is returning to the Capital, he offered her the position of the vice dean.”

Just then the elevator ding open.

The dean came out with Stephanie Williams. Ms. Williams , this way please .

Seeing the dean, they immediately stopped gossiping.

The dean walked in and started addressing them,“Everyone, let me introduce you, this is Ms. Williams, as you all have probably heard, she is the new vice dean , she will be joining us next Monday. She just returned from country F today, and I specifically invited her for a welcome ceremony.”

“Hello everyone, I’m Stephanie William, I’m looking forward to working with everyone..”
