CHAPTER 11

I stepped backward when I heard footsteps getting close to the door. My heart went racing again.

I continued walking backwards until there's no more room left to move. I almost tripped over when my legs hit the bedside table near a closed glass window.

I was enveloped by silence for a moment. Until the wooden door slowly opened. I couldn't clearly see who entered. It was only a silhouette of a big-built body of a man with above the shoulder hair length.

From the sight, my gut told me that it was him… again.

My mouth went half open. The light outside the door entered the room. He was just standing on the open door.

I felt my knees become weak when he was facing straight at my direction. I was holding tight on the edge of the bedside table, trying to fight for my life.

“W-What do you want f-from me this time?” I asked in an obviously frightened tone.

I flinched when he stepped forward and closed the door. Now, there's only two of us inside this dark room.
