Mavros POV:

When Mavros left his house that morning, he had gone with two goals in mind; to visit his mother's grave, and ask for Laura Hayes’s hand in marriage.

Somehow, asking for her hand in marriage has somehow developed into fucking her into the couch. Mavros wasn't complaining, however; sex with Laura Hayes might just be the best he'd ever had.

Mavros Blackwood wasn't a man who slept around too much. He had the occasional woman in his bed, of course, but he never indulged to excess.

He was born a bastard child of a Senator; he had no interest in creating even more bastards.

Still, even with all his experience, nothing prepared him for how sex with Laura Hayes would feel like.

They fucked on the couch. Then, after that was done, they took it to the bedroom and fucked again.

And now here they were, in his bathroom, rutting like animals once more.

“Ah, ah, ahhh,” Laura moaned as he pounded her against the glass wall of his shower cubicle, water from the shower head streaming down and making her pale skin glisten.

‘Slop, Slosh, Slop!’

The sound of his dick pounding into her wet pussy echoed through the cubicle. Her ass rippled in tandem with the motion, pale bubble buttocks glistening as his hips gyrated against her core.

“Fuck! You're so fucking tight!”

He reached up to her chest to squeeze her firm and plump breasts, and for a moment he regretted that he couldn't see her from the front.

He imagined her breasts pressed against the transparent glass as he pounded into her cunt, and the sight excited him enough that he increased his speed, hammering her with frantic urgency.

“Ohhhh,” she moaned loudly. “Fuck. This is…this is so good!”

Mavros realised that she was getting close. Despite only having sex with her three times now, he had noticed that when she was getting closer to orgasming, she tended to get loud.

Mavros could feel himself inch closer to the edge as well, so he decided to speed things along.

Trailing his fingers down her wet skin, he reached for her clitoris and began stroking it.

“Oh!” She gasped and jolted, leaning away from the wall and against his chest.

As he stroked her clit, she began to tremble, becoming heavier as her legs grew weaker and she leaned against him.

He pumped faster, deeper, but his focus was on her and her alone. Her eyes were closed, her hair sticking to her face and neck as water streamed down her skin. In that moment, an errant thought flitted through his mind.

‘She’s so beautiful.’

With a final tweak of her clit, Laura shattered.

Not giving her time to breath as she came undone in his arms, Mavros grabbed her waist, carried her weak, trembling body, and slammed into her pussy with full force.

With every pump of his dick, Laura yelped again, and again, and again. Even as she came down from her first orgasm, another one built up, brought to life by the frantic pace with which he fucked her.

The next time she shattered, they shattered together. Mavros pivoted his hips, slamming against her pussy, and the next moment his dick was pumping ropes of cum deep into her core while she shivered until of him, overcome with mind-blowing pleasure.

Several minutes later, the haze of pleasure passed, and they completed their bath.

“That was…” Laura began as she sat on Mavros’s bed, her nubile body covered only by a small towel.

“That was what?” Mavros said as he walked out of his closet, tugging on a shirt. Laura looked up at him, but her eyes swiftly trailed down to his chest. She swallowed heavily, then met his gaze once more.

“I'm sorry,” she whispered. “I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have forced myself on you like that.”

Mavros smiled and walked towards her, grabbing her chin with his fingers and holding her gaze.

“You don't see me complaining, Laura,” he said as he leaned down to capture her lips with a kiss.

They stayed liplocked for a few moments, before Mavros broke the kiss and gestured her towards the closet.

“I don't have any women's clothes, but there should be a couple shirts and shorts that should fit you. Get dressed, before you distract me again.”

She smiled impishly, then went to do just that. Mavros couldn't help but stare after her supple backside as she sashayed away.

She knew he was watching; she glanced over her shoulder at him, smiled, and looked away.

Mavros exhaled as she left the room. He approached a cabinet next to the bed, opened a drawer, and retrieved a folder.

This was it. This was the beginning of his plan.

He opened the folder, revealing a picture of an elegant woman in her fifties, beautiful, with black hair peppered with white.

Eleanor Cole. The bane of his existence, and the target of his revenge.

When Laura returned, he was still perusing the folder, frowning grimly.

“What's that?” She asked as she sat next to him on the bed. “Is that grandmother?”

“She's not your grandmother anymore!” He exclaimed, making her jump.

When Mavros glanced at Laura, he saw fear spread across her expression. As they stared at each other, he saw as she slowly realised what he hadn't said.

“Do you mean…?”

“Yes,” he nodded. “Eleanor was the one behind your assassination.”

“How do you know that?”

“Because she was the one who assassinated my mother, Senator Cole’s first wife.”

Silence descended between them.

The playful, almost sensual atmosphere that they had built up in the wake of their love making evaporated into nothingness, leaving a cold that seeped into their bones.

Mavros dropped the folder on the bed and stood up.

“I’ve been trying to destroy her for years, Laura,” he proclaimed, glancing at her with dark, hooded eyes clouded with anger. “I've been investigating her; I've only just begun to scratch the surface of her plans. I want to take her down, and I feel like you will too.”

Laura swallowed heavily, her eyes widening with every word that came out of his mouth.

“What are you saying?”

“I'm saying that Eleanor Cole didn't just try to kill you, Laura. She also killed your father.”

Eleanor POV“Are you alright, mother?”Eleanor held back in a sigh; she was starting to reach the ends of her patience.“How many times have you asked that now, Eden?” she said as she glanced at her beautiful, perfect son. The boy had the grace to blush.“Several times,” he muttered, and then perked up once more. “I’m just worried about you, mother. Who knows what that savage could’ve done to you?”“Your brother won’t kill me just by pointing a gun at me, Eden,” she pointed out.“He’s not my brother!” Eden erupted, scowling furiously at her. “He’s a stain on this family, and I wish he hadn’t returned from overseas!”He would’ve continued to yell, if he wasn’t stopped by his new wife placing a hand on his shoulder to calm him down.“Honey,” she whispered soothingly.Eleanor fought to keep the elation she was feeling concealed from him at that moment. After years of pitting the brothers against each other, it was finally bearing fruit. The bad blood between them was so bad, that Eleanor

When did Mavros get here? I thought in surprise, blinking as I turned towards the direction of the voice.Mavros was standing in the courtyard in casual clothes, looking as if he had only worn the first thing his hand had grabbed on his way here. The way his shirt hugged his rugged chest made my heart flutter; his muscles were in display, straining against the fabric. Then I noticed what he was holding in his hands, and my arousal drained to nothing.“Mavros,” I gasped. He was pointing a gun at Eleanor. I glanced at the woman in question; her hand was still frozen in the air, as if she had been paused. Her face was pale and bloodless, and her eyes were wide with what seemed to be surprise; she looked like she had seen a ghost.“I won’t repeat myself,” Mavros growled. “Step away from my wife, right this moment.”Eleanor swallowed and dropped her hands, taking a few steps back.“If it isn’t the prodigal son,” Eleanor muttered, her voice tinged with a hint of mockery. “I wonder; to what

“What is the meaning of this?” Eleanor Cole barked. “What are you doing here? You aren’t welcome here!” I smiled as I walked up to the house, not saying anything. Eleanor Cole was still beautiful and elegant, even in her fifties; she looked younger than her years, with mostly black hair lined with streaks of white. She was dress in a white sequin gown with slashes of yellow-gold, a color that reflected the champagne she held in her long fingers. “Hello, Grandmother,” I greeted as I reached the top of the steps. David stood behind me, not saying anything. “Are you deaf as well as stupid?” Eleanor sneered. “No matter how much you beg, my son will never take you back, you whore.” “A whore!?” I echoed, flabbergasted. “Why am I the whore, when I have only ever been a faithful wife? If anyone is a whore here, it’s his new wife.” “Mind your tongue,” Eleanor snarled. My stomach fell. Why was she so antagonistic towards me? The door to the house was pushed open again, revealing the gues

With that last word, I left the penthouse, pretending not to notice Mavros’s heavy gaze as I exited the door, and then the building. As I approached my car, David suddenly cut in front of me and opened the passenger door.“Excuse me, ma’am,” he said. I opened my mouth to tell him that he didn’t have to do that, but then I closed it when I realized that it was, quite literally, his job.“Thank you,” I said instead. “Still, I can drive myself, David.”“I’m afraid I can’t let you do that,” he said. “If I’m to see you to your destination back safely, I have to be on the wheels.”“Are you saying that I can’t drive myself?” I couldn’t resist the urge to tease him.“Of course not.”I sighed, and just entered the car. I glanced back at the building, and my gaze locked with Mavros’s, who was staring down at us through his window. His expressionless face softened a bit, and he nodded at me. I smiled back.David got into the driver’s seat and pulled out of the driveway, then began making his wa

“You'll be leaving by plane tomorrow, so you should get prepared.” Mavros announced after we shook hands.“Will you be coming with me?” I asked. He shook his head. “No, I won't. It'll be too suspicious. I don't want the Coles to suspect a connection between the both of us just yet.”I frowned at that.“Then how are we going to coordinate? Can't you make up an excuse, like a business trip or something?”“It will still look suspicious, Laura. The Coles, Eleanor especially, aren't stupid. Anyone who walks with death like her will always be cautious.”“Oh. Okay.”I couldn't fully suppress the disappointment in my voice. God, what was wrong with me?Mavros nodded. “I'll see you later, Laura. You should rest.” As he turned to leave the bedroom, I stopped him with a hand on his wrist.“Wait. Before I leave tomorrow, I need to get my things.”Mavros frowned at me, glancing over his shoulder.“What do you mean, get your things?”“My luggage at the house I shared with Eden,” I admitted, blushin

“N-No! That can't be true!”“Unfortunately, it is. I blinked, remembering the folder.I picked it up with a faint, embarrassed blush, and began to leaf through it.As I did so, the blood gradually drained from my face. This wasn't surprising; Eleanor was a well known socialite and philanthropist. As I dug deeper into the document, however, things began to look darker and more sinister.Blackmail. Secret societies.
