Nobody Will Know

The night grew more profound, and unlike the bustling city, the Wilson family mansion was quiet, with only the sound of the wind outside the windows.

His voice, lazy and seductive, came through the phone, stirring Kimberly's heart.

Her heart raced, flushed with a mix of emotions. She might have succumbed to his temptation in another place, but this was the old house, with her grandfather still there. Even with ten times the courage, she couldn't bring herself to do something so shameful.

Hastily, she said, "I'm hanging up."

Just as she was about to end the call, she heard from the other end, "Everyone else is asleep. Nobody will know."

"...," she replied, taking the phone away from her ear, exasperatedly saying, "Samuel, don't tempt me."

The night had a way of making hearts sway.

After ending the call, Kimberly's ears still echoed with his deep, slow, cool voice lingering around her.

She wrapped herself in the soft blanket, overwhelmed by waves of embarrassment.
