EPISODE 9

Molly stood rooted on the spot,her eyes dazed.She didn't see that coming.She started blushing immediately,her dreamy eyes closed.She couldn't believe what had just happened.Darl had just kissed!.

Why Molly was still dreaming,she was jolted back to reality by Kara's voice.

Lara crossed her heart before Molly.

"Her majesty has ordered you to keep an eye Darl".

She said.

Hearing this, Molly's brows crinkled.

"Where is her majesty".

She asked, looking at Kara.

"Her majesty is having a private u with the councillors".

She said, turning to leave quickly.

Her Majesty has ordered her to keep an eye Darl,does that means that her majesty had not known that she had been the one aiding Darl in his dirty works,she thought.

The thought of having Darl to herself and being the future queen of Cloud City enviloped her mind again.

"I believe that this city,is history herself and had thrived during the days of Death lord,Dark lord and on the time of the great Flerod.This had been the only refugee camp, that only had the ability the repel the forces of the Dark lord and his armies then.But somehow,i know have this feelings that history might be rewritten.This great City might fall even before the resurrection of the Dark lord".

Zoire said, sighing.

The hall became silent for a while, before mumurings engulfed the hall.

One of the Councillor,whose name is Ruka finally stood up.

"Your majesty".

He kowtowed, before speaking further.

"You speak something inevitable,is going to happen".

He paused, shaking his head thoughtfully.

"Your majesty,I'm not doubting you.But the current situation of Cloud City is not giving us such signs".

He said,as other councillors nodded in support of what he had just said.

Another councillor rose again to speak.

He kowtowed.

"Your majesty,the star of roushin haven't appeared yet.I believe that it will show itself before Dark lord's resurrection".

He said, settling back to his seat.

Finally,Omaha rose and bowed.

"Your majesty, the city is peaceful .It is not showing any signs of infiltration.With the strength of the armies of Cloud City,i don't think we will be attacked before Dark lord's resurrection.Our ultimate hope is that the star should appear on time before his resurrection.

Omaha said with concern written on his face.

After listening to all what the councillors had said, Zoire only shook her head.

"I'm afraid the star of roushin may not manifest on times.Time is ticking away,we have a very short linited time now.As for now we are going to tighten our security.Who knows,the city might be under seige itself".

She said sighing, before dismising the councillors.

Zoire walked out of the hall,along with her gaurds.Molly saw her,and quickly walked to her.

"Your majesty,i have received your orders from Kara".

She said bowing.

"Good, I'm glad you did.Do what i ask you to do.I want to know Darl's activities as well".

She said frowning as if she realizes something,she walked away from Molly.

Darl stood by the baluster, leaning on the handrails.He let out a deep breath.Tomorrow is day Cloud City is going to be celebrating the new moon festival,he can't wait to fight the monster and get over with.

He had been trying to increase his powers by studying  black arts, although he had always see Erimense as a weak one.But everything changed the day he had a spar with him.

He turned slowly, walking inside his chamber.He sat in lotus, taking a deep breath.He decided to practice another black art.

He tried channeling the energy at his dantain, making it spread across his body.A black aura rose like dusts from his body, feeling the whole room.

His muscles started taut,and the pain also seems to increase at same time as continue meditating.He felt as if his body has been set on fire, still he struggled to keep himself calm while he was meditating.Then suddenly,he flew backward crashing uncontrollably on the table at the corners of his room.

Blood started dripping down from the corners of his lower lips.He groans as he struggled to his feet before collapsing again finally.

Erimense decided to go hunting.He took only his sword with him,as he was planning of training himself harder without eating.Soon after he was ready to leave,he summoned mana into his feet and he started running as fast as the wind.

Erimense had nearly burned sixty percent of his mama in this process.He finally stopped as soon as he got nearer to the fog in the forest.He wasn't planning on goiy back now, though he knew he was in a dangerous situation.His strained his ears,if he could hear any movement from the fog,but is ears couldn't pick and sound at all.

Much to his suprise,he found out that the fog was made up of pure Mana.He quickly sat on the leaves,as he started absorbing the mana around him just to make him stronger.

His eyes opened, immediately he sense something swept past his back.He sprang up on his feet, unsheathing his sword before taking a stance.

The mysterious beast sniffs,as it darted towards him at an incredible speed.Seeing this, Erimense eyes narrowed.He couldn't believe he wasn't seeing anything,not even it's movements.

Suddenly, Erimense felt a punch at his abdomen.He took off from his feet crashing on the branches of one of the trees nearby.

The power behind that punch was so powerful that it knocked the air from Erimense lungs.He could feel his bones making a cracking sound,as the result of Mana flowing in his blood.

He gathered his qi,into his fist punching the ground.The punch created a powerful wave,that sent him into the air.He twisted severally in the air before landing on his feet.
