“And do you think that I would believe you?” paninira ko sa katahimikan matapos n’yang aminin ang totoong nangyari.

He smiled genuinely and nodded his head. “Then, you leave me no choice but to prove it again. Wala akong pakialam kung hindi ka magtiwala pero papatunayan ko pa rin sa ‘yo na tunay ang nararamdaman ko. Na ikaw lang ang gusto ko.”

I was too stunned to speak. Hindi ko aakalain na may ganito rin pala siyang side na hindi ko masyadong nakikita. His words were as sweet as honey, and they made a lady believe what he said was genuine. I want to believe him, but I can't shake the feeling that I've lost trust in him.
