Sienna:

I smiled at our guests as I gave them out the small pastries that I made earlier this morning.

Arturo’s words kept playing in my head no matter how hard I tried stopping them, and seeing as he did it just before the gathering, I had to fight the urge to resent him, his touch, and approach throughout the evening so as not to cause a stir. Though it was not easy, and I knew that it was only a matter of time before anyone noticed.

Him calling me a hypocrite was something that broke my soul, and whatever lies he thought that I was telling him, I was going to force him to shove them down his throat. Mostly because he knew for fact that I was fighting hard to earn him, and NOT lie to him as he claimed.

The man, as I believe, was my security, but it seemed to me that it was something that only I was feeling. He had the urge of searching, trying to find something to hold onto against me, and if that was the case, then I had no idea where he was going with what he was doing. All I knew
