I continue to sob into Daryl’s chest, Beta Jax had been hurt because of me and if I had never met Daryl he wouldn’t be in the hospital now.
“Stop thinking like that, he did what any Beta would do and that was to protect his Luna”
The word Luna made me pull away from him “I’m not a Luna”, I try to control my voice yet there was still a slight wobble there.
“Yes you are, you are the Luna of Crescent pack” he glares at me, the same glare that always made me feel tiny. I take the back pack from him and go into the bathroom to get dressed, thankfully he had packed a sweatshirt and some joggers this time.

My words had hit him hard, but I didn’t care, he had marked me against my will. As we step inside the cabin, I look around at the beautiful layout, it was definitely cosy with the blankets hanging on the sofas and small fireplace in the corner and the low ceiling beams.“Whose house is this?” I was curious, it wasn’t a place Daryl had taken me to before yet I definitely liked it. Daryl had been certain about getting my wolf back and the last few days he had hardly been in the packhouse, whenever I saw him he hardly spoke or he would tell me off for being out of bed.
