14- She's Missing

Jacob's POV

I was wondering why Ana had not informed me whether Maya was awake or not. It was almost dinner time and I was worried she would miss it if I didn't wake her up now.

I walked to my room and there I found Ana seated on the couch. She stood up after seeing me and bowed. I nodded at her and motioned for her to be at ease. "Is she in the bathroom?" I asked her.

"Yes Alpha. She said she doesn't want anyone to disturb her as she wanted to relax and freshen up." She informed me. I nodded at her and said, "I understand." I told Ana to leave and get Maya some food to eat. She hurried down the kitchen and I waited for Maya to come out of the bathroom.

I didn't hear anything in the bathroom indicating what Maya was doing. There's no sound of splashing of water or whatever. I walk in front of the bathroom door and try to eavesdrop, but there's nothing.
