Ava's Point Of View

I am in a dimly lighted hall, seated right across Sebastian. After he told me his dastardly plan and compelled me to sleep, I was taken to his castle.

I watch as he takes a bite from his meal with a smile on his lips. How could he manage to smile with all the chaos he was causing?

The golden dagger was before him on the table, this was the weapon that could kill Kaden and the Primordials, and if Kaden dies, so will the entire Midnight pack. I hope Kaden gets my letter and realize that he shouldn't come after me. He can't fall into this trap set by Sebastian. It would be much better if he chooses not to come to save me, although the thought of that happening hurts but it was what was better for the pack. If I could give up my life to save my pack, I would. Even though I was the only way to escape their curse, Krys could find another way to save the pack. It would be for everyone best interest if he doesn't try to save me.
