MATED TO THE TWIN BROTHERS

Elowen's POV

A ray of sunlight hit me through the window and I stirred awake, slowly opening my eyes. I looked around, frowning. I was in an unknown environment, everything here was foreign to me. 

"How did I get here?" I muttered under my breath, feeling extremely hungry.

A sharp migraine hit me, I groaned in pain, images from the night before hitting me in full force. 

"My baby," I panicked, looking down at my stomach to see it flat and empty.

"My baby, where is my baby?" I got off the bed, my heart beating in rapid successions.

"Ma, are you ok?" I twirled around to see a lady dressed in a maid’s clothing, gawking at me. Her eyes were filled with pity and it gave me a sickening feeling in my belly. 

"Where is my baby?" I grabbed her, taking her by surprise. 

"Tell me where the fuck is my baby!" I shook her fiercely, scaring her. 

"You need to calm down ma and have some rest, please," she squealed, scared to her bones. She looked like she wanted to be anywhere else but here.

"How do you expect me to calm down when you won't tell me where my baby is?" Tears flooded my eyes, my body losing all its strength and her eyes flashed with pity again.

"Please just tell me where my baby is. Tell me she is ok."

"I'm sorry ma, we tried to save the baby when you were brought in but you were both in a bad condition and we could only save one of you," she explained, the sadness in her eyes stretching down to the pits of her heart. 

My face lost all color as I realized I was alive. Didn't she just say they could only save one of us? If I'm alive, where is my baby?

"My sorry ma, but we had to save you instead. The baby was far too gone," she added, clarifying my confusion.

My legs wobbled and gave out as I fell to the floor, tears streaming down my cheeks.

"My baby," I sobbed, my chest constricting in pain. 

"My baby, she is gone! They killed her."

My whole world felt like it was crumbling down before my very eyes. My baby was the last family I had left, the only person that hasn't left me yet.

Every other person was gone.

Caden betrayed me and turned his back on me when I needed him most. He treated me like I was vervain because I was different. A life I didn't choose for myself. 

Raven, that backstabbing bitch. I trusted her! She was my best friend! How could she do this to me?

All it took was one word and the entire pack all turned against me. I could hear their scornful remarks in my head, their sneers, their disgust. 

All of them, they killed her. They killed my baby!

"Arghhh!!!!!!" I screamed out in pain, my heart in shambles.

"Ma, please, you need to calm down," the maid said, scared as she took a step back, my eyes filled with darkness. 

In the midst of the pain, I was hungry. I turned my tear filled eyes to the maid standing beside me.

She is human. 

I could hear the blood flowing through her veins, it was calling out to me. I gulped, my canines elongating. 

Her blood, I wanted her blood.

"Ma?" She shook in fear, slowly moving away from me.

"I'm sorry," I apologized, unable to control myself and lunged at her, going for her neck. 

"Please, don't kill me, please," she pleaded, tears streaming down her eyes. I halted for a moment, an image of my lifeless father flashing through my head, drained of blood.

I killed him!

I immediately backed away, fighting the thirst.

What was happening to me? 

"Get out!" I cried out, fighting the urge to rip her apart and drain her down to the last drop of her blood.

Without waiting to be told twice, she immediately fled, running for her dear life. 

She had that same look on her face, the same look every single member of the pack had on their face when they found out I was a hybrid, part wolf, part vampire.

I hated this, I hated all of this! 

Why was I so unfortunate?

I didn't want this life!

I broke down in tears, the grief overwhelming the thirst. Why did the moon goddess choose to punish me this way? 

Why give me a life that is so pathetic!

They were right! I was an abomination! I should never have been born. I killed my father and I was just about to kill that innocent maid because I was hungry. 

I hated this life! I was far more content with the life I had before.

The strong smell of blood suddenly hit me, spiking my craving. 

"No!" I fought it, refusing to bend to the will of my hunger. 

I closed my eyes, trying to block the urge to give in to my hunger. I've lived as a werewolf wolf for as long as I can remember, I can survive without blood.

"You're one stubborn vampire, kitten," a voice suddenly said, his voice filled with amusement.

I tore my eyes open and looked towards the door, my mouth dropping open in what seemed to be awe.

He is dead drop gorgeous and has the most beautiful set of eyes. It reminded me of the ocean.

"How can you fight the bloodlust?" He asked and that was when I noticed the maid from earlier in his hands, blood dripping from her neck with two bite marks.

"You're a vampire," I said, my face filled with disbelief.

"Of course I am, Kitten. A very handsome one at that," he winked at me, smiling.

"Mate!" My wolf stirred within me, reacting to his presence and my eyes widened in horror. 

No way, how can this be? How is he my mate? 

"You need to feed the kitten, starving yourself will do you no good,"  he threw the maid at me and I immediately moved back, fighting the hunger and bloodlust.

"Come on, you'll die if you don't feed," he said, moving closer.

"Then let me die!" I growled, biting down on my lips.

"Ethan will kill me if I let that happen," he said and I frowned, wondering who Ethan was.

"I'm not feeding on her!" I said stubbornly, refusing to give in to my cravings.

He facepalmed himself, looking frustrated. He glared at the maid, directing his frustration to her. 

"You were supposed to make her feed!" She crawled away, trying to get away from him, her entire body shaking with fright.

"Not so fast sweetheart," he moved too fast for my eyes to catch his movement and picked her up, tears streaming from her eyes. 

What was he going to do to her?

"Since she doesn't want you, you're useless to me," he smiled and she shook her head sideways nonstop, unable to say anything. 

"Goodbye sweetheart." He snapped her neck without batting an eye, dropping her to the ground.

"Arghhh!" I screamed, horrified by the sight and he turned to me. My face turned pale as I slowly backed away into the wall.

He killed her! 

His eyes, there were no remorse in them, just darkness.

"Seriously Liam? After all she has been through, do you have to make things more difficult for her?" A calm voice asked, stepping into the scene. 

“I was just trying to get her to feed,” the vampire replied, not so thrilled to see the guest.

I looked up, meeting his eyes and I froze. 

He is a werewolf.

"I'm sorry sweetheart, forgive my brother for his insolence," he took my hand in his, taking me by surprise, placing a kiss on my hand.

How did he move so fast? 

He looked up, meeting my eyes. Unlike the vampire, his eyes were amber in color. 

My wolf suddenly stirred within me for the second time today, my world freezing before me. 

"Mate," we both muttered together. 

How can this be? 

I had two mates, a vampire and a werewolf.

My legs wobbled and gave out, the werewolf rushing to catch me in his arms, the vampire standing beside him and that was when I saw it.

The uncanny resemblance and their mark. 

"Kitten, are you ok?" The vampire asked, looking worried but I felt too weak to answer, my eyes shutting closed.

Not only were they my mates.

They were twins.
