Chapter 59: Don't say thank you

It seems so unbelievable knowing what had just happened between Alpha Damon and I.

Never was it within my expectations, that the next time we'd be so intimately close would be this surprising and exhilarating.

As I tried to rationalize everything, my heart pounded loudly, and a rush of heat flooded through me.

"Ugh, he wants us to do it again," I muttered, feeling my cheeks flush.

Lost in my own thoughts, I sensed Damon's lips drawing near to my neck. "Why don't you want us to do it again?" he whispered.

A shiver ran down my spine as his cool lips touched my neck. "Please...stop," I whispered, my voice barely audible.

I wished desperately for the ground to open up and swallow me whole. Why was my voice betraying me like this?

It was as though I was craving more for those feelings, instead of pursuing him away.

"What was that?" he asked, his mouth trailing kisses along my earlobe.

“Gosh heaven!” Through seethed teeth, I let out an unwilling gasp.

I knew if this goes on any fu
