My name is Reilly; I am Lycan King Declan’s younger half-brother. For many years both Declan and I were under the impression that I was his son. I am also one of Alsie’s mates.

Declan heard a rumor that a female Lycan bore him a child, he didn’t take much stock in the rumors until I ended up on the steps of the Royal Palace in Valoria. I was a grown man when I came to the Royal Palace. I wanted to know if the rumors were true or not. Once I spoke with Declan, we did what’s called a rapid DNA test and it came back with matching markers.

From that point on Declan and I lived our lives as father and son. Since I was thought to be Declan’s son I moved into the Palace and shadowed Declan’s every move, as I was to be the next in line for the throne.

Word got to Valoria about an Alpha change in a werewolf pack. Normally this kind of news was just a blip in Valoria. Lycans didn’t involve themselves in werewolf politics and pack hierarchy. However, over the course of a few weeks this particular pack appeared to be making some waves and pissing people off right and left.

Lycans don’t necessarily oversee werewolf pack business, but for the last ten or so years there has been no Alpha King for the werewolves to file complaints with. The Royal Palace has stepped in, in the past when it’s been proven necessary to do so and has resolved werewolf issues. Lycans rule differently than Weres and it can get a little tricky handing down a punishment or an agreement. But the agreement between Weres and Lycans was clear “If the Royal Palace of Valoria had to step in and handle a Were  pack situation or disagreement all parties would agree to abide by the ruling given, as long as it didn’t break Wolf Law.”

After the Royal Gamma got the fourth complaint about the Far-Side Moon Pack, Declan knew he had to see for himself what was going on. That’s when we got word of this new thing called the Council of Pack that was created in Far-Side. This Council of Pack was setup to eliminate the Council of Elders, and it was fucking brilliant!

Declan and I got ahold of any and everything we could about this new way of governing a pack. Nobody wanted to get rid of the Elders more than Declan, or at least that’s what I thought. Clearly, someone else did and they had the balls to do it.

I was sitting in a hotel restaurant in Evergreen when I came across this stack of papers binder clipped together and the top page said, “How to form your own Council of Pack-Trial Version-Not for Disbursement”.

Nobody was sitting at the table at that moment. There were three glasses, two plates with half eaten food, a cell phone, and a set of car keys on the table alongside this paperwork. I wasted no time, I stole it. I stole the binder clipped paperwork, placed it under my jacket that was draped over my arm, paid my tab and left before anyone who was sitting at that table came back to it.

I had my security detail check me out of that hotel after I checked myself into another hotel across the city. Once settled in my suite I video called Declan and showed him what I found. In a matter of three hours Declan was sitting next to me at the dining table in my hotel suite reading all about this Council of Pack.

That’s when Declan decided to announce an official visit to the Far-Side Moon Pack. We gave the allotted sixty-day notice and on day sixty-one we arrived at the largest wolf pack in North America. The pack was immaculate, grass and gardens tended, businesses bustling, pack members walking around with smiles, pups participating in age-appropriate training. I remember asking Declan, “What are people writing to the Royal Gamma about?”

Declan responded, “Council of Pack.”

“So, the Elders and their families are the ones complaining.”

As we drove further into the pack my Lycan, O’Kelly, started pacing in my head, I had a weird feeling in my chest and all I wanted to do was exit the vehicle. I rolled down the window and I caught this faint, wonderful scent of sugar cookies.

I looked over at Declan, and his eyes were blown, his breathing was ragged, Declan looked how I felt. I could feel Declan’s Lycan Raz was close to the surface. After a few more minutes we arrived at the Far-Side Moon Pack’s Pack Center. We exited the vehicle and both Declan and I walked up to the most beautiful woman I ever saw and immediately marked her, one of us on each side of her throat. Her body responded and melted into us, O’Kelly hollered “MATE!” inside my head at least a dozen times.

This woman pushed us away before we could seal our marks, that’s when I realized that Declan had marked her too. I looked around and noticed six others standing behind her, one of the men standing behind her I knew. Dante.

Dante and two others flanked her on her right side, while three very strong Alphas who looked like identical triplets flanked her on her left side.

I’m pretty sure my fated mate’s first words to me were, “What the fuck was that?”

After a few days of getting to know each other, finding out my mate had seven other mates, one of them being who I believed was my dad at the time, was a lot to take in. But it didn’t stop us from completing the bond. It was around that time when Wepwawet and Anubis announced to Declan and I that I wasn’t his son but his half-brother. That made this bond thing a little less weird.

Holy shit did Dec and I hit the fated mate jackpot! Not only did we get an ancient Egyptian deity as a mate, but we got triplets that were the descendants of Horus, an original Vampire created by God for his sins against his brother Able, the current but not announced Alpha King, and the enforcer of Valoria Dante.

Every day I get to share my life with some of the most powerful Supernatural beings on the planet. I guess it was only a matter of time before someone tried to take one of us out.

I hate this plan, I hate this bracelet thing, but I know it needs to be done.

I couldn’t help it, I gave way to Rana, feeling the overwhelming tiredness, exhaustion, and relief from my mates through the bond was too much for me to handle. I knew they were having issues with our original plan, and I had hoped that by changing the plan and scrapping the bracelet idea they would feel better. I wasn’t expecting what I felt.Rana surged forward and I let her. Maybe she had something better, but I wasn’t ready for what she proposed, and by proposed, I mean our newest course correction.I pushed off of Dante’s chest, eyes gleaming with gold silver, “No. We’re not doing it like this.”“Hello Rana.” Kane said as he moved closer to Dante and me.“Nope, not today, Kane. Sit down.” Kane did as I instructed.“Hey, Rana. It’s a good plan, it makes sense, and it provides us with a few added layers of protection. Alsie did good.” Dante commented as he tried to grab me and pull me back into his lap.“I know she did good. But it’s not enough.”“What do you mean?” Dante asked as

I walked over to Alsie and Declan, “Can I steal her away for a minute?” I ask, politely, not wanting to interrupt anything.“Of course, Dante. You don’t have to ask to have a word or anything else with our mate.”“Thanks, Dec.” I grabbed Alsie’s hand and walked her into our bedroom. Our house is designed as an open-floor plan. The bedroom and the living room are only separated by a nine-foot-long, double-sided fireplace. I knew with everyone’s heightened hearing we wouldn’t get any real privacy, but I felt better with the illusion of privacy. Even though all nine of us are mated, I still have a few hangups about showing vulnerability and emotions.“Dante, what’s going on? Are you OK?” Alsie asked me, always concerned about us, and never worrying about herself. We made our way over to our shared bed; I sat down and pulled Alsie into my lap. “Cupcake, I don’t like this plan. I know it has to happen, but I don’t like it. I really hate this bracelet. I don’t like not being able to feel yo

We decided to postpone the marking for a few days. After speaking with Sylvia my mated and I decided that we needed to lock down a few more details and see what this bracelet business is all about.Sylvia, the pack seer, showed up at the Pack Center with the bracelet.“Luna Alsie, I’d like you to try this one and get a feel for it.” Sylvia said as she handed me the bracelet. “I think it is best if all of you got used to what it will feel like not being able to connect the way you usually do.”I took the beautiful bracelet from Sylvia, and examined it, turning it repeatedly. It was made of platinum with nine colored stones embedded in it, there were some words engraved on the inside of the bracelet.-Hoc amuletum eos quos amas tutos servabit- “This charm will keep those you love safe.” I read the loosly translated latin engraving out loud in English. Sylvia smiled, “I forgot you knew latin.” “Not many know it anymore, it is a lost language. Such a shame so many beautiful languages ha

Alsie POV-Don’t get me wrong, we all knew this was what was supposed to happen. Well, the triplets, Kane, Dante and I did anyway. The triplets knew it before I did, they met Wepwawet the day before our world changed forever. Wepwawet confirmed what Alpha Kordell had started to tell them, and Wepwawet informed everybody of the fact that I would have multiple mates, or maybe that was Kane. I don’t remember.Hearing Sylvia tell us our destiny, even though most of us in the room already knew what it was, it was kind of eerie.“How do we get one of these bracelets? I’m assuming I can’t just go buy one a local jeweler.”“You are correct, Alsie. You can’t. I will travel back to Egypt and to have Isis craft a bracelet for this specific mission. I’ll be back in four days.” Anubis said as he stood up from his chair. “Wepwawet, I need you to stay until I return and continue to guide them.”“I understand, Anubis.” Wepwawet said as Anubis left our house to gather his things and head back to his h

Chapter 6-The Next Morning-The Alphas and Luna awoke the next morning, showered, dressed, ate breakfast, tended to the babies, then gathered back in the living room after the nannies reported to their morning shifts.“When are Wepwawet and Anubis arriving?” Dante asked, as he looked around the room.“They should be here any minute.” Alsie responded. “It feels weird having this meeting in this house. I didn’t want anything to taint our sanctuary. Life of leadership, I guess.”Declan sighed, “Way to make me feel like shit.”“It wasn’t directed at you, or for you. I was simply stating facts. Let’s be for real we all knew eventually this would happen. We can’t live in our bubble forever.”Andrew walked into the living room with Anubis, Wepwawet, and Sylvia the pack seer.“Hello, everyone. We summoned Sylvia to see if we could get a few answers. I hope you’re ok with that.” Anubis stated as he walked in and took a seat on one of the recliners.“Fine by me.” Alsie said in agreement.“Anyth
