Chapter 16 (Part 2)

Shot

Gunshots echoed inside the mall. Amara chanted a spell and in a minute a bubble surrounded us, protecting us from the bullets. It made me thought of myself. If only I was an ordinary Witch.

"We need to move fast. My spell won't last long."

We ran like our life meant on it. Well, it does. We were about to exit the mall when an explosion happened at the exit. Debris fell, blocking the way outside. Amara and I looked at each other. We have the same thoughts in our mind but...

"They're too many!"

She shook her head. We ran to a safer place as she casted a spell. I saw her release small bubbles, in the shape of a bullet. When I saw her loading it to her gun, I immediatley know what her powers were.

"You're a shield."

She gave me her bubbles. I did the same thing, loaded it to my guns.

"What am I supposed to do with this bubbles?"

"It will shield them from us. If they shoot, the bullets will come back for them."
