Arya POV

The moment she stepped into the dining hall the most delicious mouth-watering scent filled her nose. She knew he was there, but she couldn’t see him. She wanted to follow the scent until she found him. She wanted to be brave. Instead of the broken woman she has been the past few years. She also didn’t want her mate to know how broken she truly was.

She took in a deep breath. Straightened up and decided to follow his scent. She found him in the kitchen. Before she could stop herself, she was at his side. One hand instinctively slid across his lower back while the other went to his chest. She felt a rush of excitement as she felt the tingles spread over her wherever she touched him. Her heart was beating so fast she thought it would explode out of her chest. She looked him in the eyes and with more confidence than she thought she spoke. “Good morning, Alpha Josh.”
