Chapter 10

The rays of sunshine pierced into my room in an attempt to roast me. It wasn't that hot, it was kind of flattery on my skin. My windows were closed last night by me and my blindfolds were drawn so I didn't get why I was feeling the warmth of sunlight on my face. 

A smile crawled up my cheeks and I turned to the other side of the room with my eyes still closed. After begging my brain to let me sleep for just five minutes more, I peeled my eyes open. 

There was a set of blue eyes boring into my soul with the face it lived on very close to mine. I was literally breathing in the carbon dioxide this creature breathed out.

"Ah!" I screamed and jerked, causing me to fall on the floor.
