Ducan's p.o.v

As the generals left the throne room. Ose remained behind as ordered by me.

Once they were all gone, he quickly moved closer with a concerned expression on his face.

"Ducan, is there something you want to tell me?" He asked seriously.

"Yes." I answered.

"Okay, but I too want to ask you something. Was it the right decision to keep the female humans here?" He asked loudly.

I understood his concern but what did he expect me to do?. Kill them all?.

"What exactly did you have in mind?" I asked back.

"I thought you were going to send them back to human territory." He answered.

I smiled then raised my hand, gesturing to him to move closer which he did.

"Sending them back would make me look like I'm weak. The priests would think I value the female humans a lot and they would be sending more of them every time until we fall." I said seriously.

He kept quiet then sighed heavily.
