White lie

It's been over a week, since then Keith kept me in bays length, he gets aggrieved by everything I do! It felt like his dad brainwashed him and turned him against me.

Leonardo decides that it was time to get a having outing! Out of pretense, he invites me and Jason as well.

I know that this ain't going to be a normal outing and some drama most likely to occur.

(10:00pm)

We all got dressed and ready to have the supposed happy family outings, I packed up my bags and waited for the rest of the family, apparently the moment they walked out of their rooms we got into our cars and left from there.

It was a two hours drive to sterling silver hotels, it was meant to be a family outing but we are not one, and we can never be.

Leonardo walks in and left us alone outside, later on, we got into our rooms, I didn't know he also invited Tori to tag along.

Her room was next to mine, I was seated in my room, I could hear her talking through the phone, and gradually getting aggravated by the person she talks with.

It's cute and funny to see her in such a manner, out of kindness, I knocked on her door and she opens it, seeing me standing there.

"Chris! Why are you here?" She put off the call, ushering me in.

"Nothing much, I just wanted to say, hi!" I answered back, quickly my mind trigged back, and I imagined how drunk she was at the company's years anniversary.

She also recalled the moment and moves a bit from me, she looms her eyes curiously, the tensed mood she smudged a smile on my face, I was so engrossed with her, I blab out without thinking. "You look so beautiful!".

Alexis veers and shoots a weak smile on her face after washing off the curious look on.

"What! Did you say anything?" She asked, as I quickly rephrased my words before I get caught, "no! I didn't say anything! But do you want to take a walk with me?" I waited for her response.

She plunges in thought, before returning her words to me, "yes! I'll love that" she accepts my invitation, which was surprising seeing we don't see eye to eye.

I walked out, she follows suit, as we both veered together out of the hotel.

We Walked through the hotel gardens and went on sightseeing until it was evening.

Meanwhile, Keith paced like a watchdog at the entrance of the hotel, he kept watch and see if we were coming, hence the minute he saw us ambling together, he rushed out and stop us on the way.

"What are you doing?" Tori asked seeing the manner he rushed to meet us.

Keith shoots an angry glance at me, pulled his hands out, and dragged Tori away without warning.

I saw how angered she became seeing us together, can my brother ever act mature? What's and why is he feeling jealous seeing me what her, perhaps is he in love with Alexis.

(Keith walks Alexi's to her room, and locked the door, veering a pissed-off glare on his face).

"What was that, all about?" He asked veering closer to her.

Alexis pulled back retreating to him with a question, "what is what? I don't understand?" She says veering backward but finally noticed she had run out of space.

"Why are you with my brother? I don't like seeing you with him?" He lets out a shocking truth, plastering a stunned look on her face.

The next day, I got up quite early, I ambled out to the lobby, running into Leonardo, who ushered a group of men into the hotel's restaurant, somehow I feel something suspicious!!.

I walked In and seated closer to them, quietly taking heed of their conversation.

(Inaudible conversation).

After taking heed of his words, I rushed over to mom's room, and saw her in a compromising manner with Jason, "what's going on?".

Tensed I might find out the truth, mom pulls away and weave out a lie to me, I didn't believe her but I had something important to do!".

"Mom! Please tell me who my real father is! Because I just heard him talk with a couple of men about a man called Jason hart, and isn't it weird, my uncle answers the same name with him!".

Jason ran a tense look on his face, mom took a glance and noticed the tension between us, to her, she thought lying will be the best but before she could get the chance to alter a word, Jason pills her back, shaking his head against it.

There again I felt something was being hidden from me, as I watched them talk in riddles, it kept going on to a point, I couldn't control myself, I yelled out regaining their attention over to me.

Jason walks up, and sat me down on the couch, he buffed out a deep breath, geeking into my eyes, I pushed back fiddling for his or mom's response to me.

(Jason finally gathers the courage and muttered out the truth they have been hiding from me for years now).

In disbelief, I veered his hands away, I didn't know if I was to believe him, because all my life I have lied to, not only by my family but now the man who was introduced to me, like my uncle, ends up being my father, how!  I asked myself, thus, when mom affirmed his word to be the truth, the anger I felt disappeared, I filled up the distance between us, and hugged him.

Two hours later.

Jason, oops sorry my dad, and I walked out of the room, holding unto each other, we walked into fabian who looked and noticed that I must have found out the truth, he pins a devilish smile and laughs, "aww! Isn't it lovely, Chris has finally found his father! How lovely right?" He teases me, idling to hear my comeback.

Before I could say a word, dad blabs out to him, "you should be worried! Because we all know that I am the real owner of the company you possess now, and my son will be the next chairman, who will be appointed by the board of directors".

Dad's words plunged him to worry, he jerks his head in disarray, finally strings away.

It felt so good, seeing someone stand up for me, it's the first time, I saw fabian short of words, indeed this will be a good outing now that my biological father is here with me, what can go wrong?".

The whole day ran by the speed of light, I couldn't get myself to sleep, taking a stroll around the resort will be good for me, I walked looming my eyes around, it veers away that how I took notice of Alexis quietly seated at the foundation.

I walked up to her, she veers back after noticing my presence behind, "good evening, why are you?" I sat next to her, fiddling for her reply.

Alexis shoots a weak smile retreating,  she says and quotes, " Nothing! I wasn't able to sleep so, I decided to seat and clear my mind".
