Chapter 32

The Divisional police officer (DPO) stride to Scott's office holding some documents. He sighted Scott on his way out, and halt when they came closer to each other.

"Good day Boss." Scott greeted, and helped him with the documents he was holding.

"Are you heading somewhere?" He asked.

"No, I just wanted to drop this with the team. But I will do that later, please come inside." Scott responded, leading the way back to his office.

He has not had enough rest since he came to the office. He left for the address the reporter gave to him to carry out some investigation.

"How did your investigation go? Were you able to get the information?" He asked, taking a sit opposite Scott.

"Boss, things are getting more complicated. And I don't think Veronica herself is safe. The journalist she's dating is not completely innocent." Scott replied, his tone sounded exhausting.
