FINAL CHAPTER

"How are you, hija?" my mom spoke as we ate our dinner, she's talking to her friend's daughter, Lhea.

I don't know why I always need to be present every time she's here. Alam kong gusto niya ang babae para sa akin, pero kahit kailan ay hindi ako umoo sa plano niyang iyon. Though, I didn't decline also.

I just let my mom thought that I am following her orders. Well, as of now, there's nothing wrong with her plan. I'm not in a relationship, I also don't have someone I like. There's no need to oppose.

"I'm doing good, Tita. Kayo po?" the girl answered.

I lazily tilted my head to look at her. She's pretty, I admit it though. We're friends also. Hindi na masama para sa akin. I saw her looked at me, her cheeks flushed when she found me staring at her.

"Okay lang din naman. Kahit pa na-i-stress ako rito sa anak ko," reklamo ni Mama.

The girl, Lhea, chuckled. "Why, Tita? Is there something wrong with your business?"

Umiling naman si Mama at nakanguso akong nilingon. I just remained my stoic f
