The sun was setting over the Falcone villa when Sienna heard the faint sound of tires crunching on gravel. She looked up from the desk in Enzo’s study, her brow furrowed. Visitors were rare, and unannounced ones were unheard of. Seconds later, a knock echoed through the room. Federico stepped inside.

“It’s your father.” Federico announced grimly. “He’s waiting in the drawing room.”

“My father?” Sienna asked, surprised. “Alessandro?”

Federico nodded. “Enzo’s out dealing with the shipment. Should I call him back?”

“No. I’ll handle this.” Sienna answered after a pause.

The drawing room was dimly lit, the soft glow of a chandelier casting shadows across the polished floor. Alessandro stood by the window, looking every bit the calculating man she remembered. When Sienna entered, he turned, a smile playing on his lips that didn’t reach his eyes.

Alessandro: “Cara mia. You look well.”

“What are you doing here, Alessandro?” Sienna asked c

Sienna sat on the balcony of Enzo’s villa, the night air cool against her skin. The distant hum of the city seemed muted, almost peaceful. But inside, her mind was anything but calm. Alessandro’s words from their last conversation echoed in her head, pulling her in two directions. She barely noticed when Enzo stepped onto the balcony, his footsteps soft but deliberate. “You’ve been quiet all evening.” Enzo said gently. Sienna turned to him. “Just thinking.” “About him?” Enzo sat beside her. Sienna nodded. “Him trying to convince me to leave you, to join him and Mateo. He said staying with you is a death sentence.” Enzo clenched his jaw. “You’ve told me already. What I want to know is... what are you thinking now?” “I don’t know.” Sienna looked away. “He’s my father, Enzo. For all his faults, for everything he’s done, part of me still feels... tethered to him.” Enzo leaned closer, his voice soft but firm. “Ties don’t mean loyalty, Sienna. You don’t owe him anything—especi

The attack came from the left side, and without warning. The once serene villa is suddenly plunged into chaos as alarms blare through the property. Shadows shift between the trees, and muffled voices bark orders from the distance. Sienna crouched behind the marble counter in the expansive kitchen, her breaths shallow, her heart pounding in her chest.“They’ve breached the north perimeter.” Federico relayed over the radio. “Four men. Armed.”“North? Damn it. That’s where Sienna is!” Nico replied sharply. “Luca, take the west flank. I’m heading inside.”“I’m already moving.” Luca overlapped “Federico, cover the main entrance!”“Stay calm. Think.” Sienna whispered to herself, gripping a carving knife. The sound of heavy boots echoes down the hallway, drawing closer. Sienna glanced toward the window and spotted Diego’s men creeping through the garden. Her grip tightens on the knife as she hears the unmistakable sound of glass shattering.“Search every room. She’s here somewhere. Diego wa

The tension in the air was palpable as Enzo paced the length of his office, his phone clutched tightly in his hand. Luca and Nico stood nearby, their arms crossed, faces set in grim determination. Sienna sat on the edge of the couch, her eyes darting between them, her unease growing with every passing second.“What do you mean you can’t trace it?” Enzo growled into the phone. “I need to know where they’ve taken him!”“Mateo doesn’t leave breadcrumbs, Enzo.” Luca said sharply. “If he’s got Federico, this is a message. And you know what kind of message it is.”Nico nodded. “He’s trying to draw you out. You walk into this blind, and you’ll be playing right into his hands.”Enzo slammed the phone onto the desk. “And what do you expect me to do, Nico? Let Federico rot? He’s been with me since the beginning.”“There has to be another way.” Sienna said quietly. “Mateo wants you to act rashly—if you do, it’s exactly what he’s hoping for.”Enzo turned to her, his voice sharp. “And what do you

The sound of hurried footsteps and frantic voices filled the large conference room in Enzo’s estate. Enzo stood at the head of the table, his expression thunderous. Papers, laptops, and screens displaying financial data were strewn across the room. Luca and Nico flanked him, their grim faces matching his fury. Sienna stood near the back, silently observing the chaos, her mind working overtime.Enzo slammed his fist on the table. “How the hell did Diego manage to breach our networks? We had redundancies, backups—everything locked down.”“He’s not working alone. Someone on the inside had to feed him access points.” Luca said grimly. Nico nodded. “This isn’t just one hit. He’s been targeting smaller accounts, chipping away at us piece by piece. We didn’t notice until it was too late.”“And now we’re bleeding money. He’s using my resources against me.” Enzo lamented, his voice sharp.Sienna stepped forward. “Let me take a look at the data.”All eyes turned to her. Luca scoffed, crossing

The hum of engines filled the air as Enzo’s convoy approached the outskirts of one of Diego Torres’ fortified strongholds. The moonlight cast an eerie glow over the abandoned industrial site. Enzo, seated at the front of the lead vehicle, stared ahead with icy determination. Sienna was by his side, her face pale but set with quiet resolve.“Are you sure about this? Sienna asked gently. “Diego won’t go down easily.”“He hit me where it hurts. Now I’m returning the favor.” Enzo answered without looking at her. “I know, but…” Sienna paused. “Be careful. He’s expecting this.”Enzo finally glanced at her. “I’m always careful. That’s why I’m still here.”Behind them, Luca and Nico prepared their weapons, exchanging tense glances.“Diego’s not going to roll over. He’s going to fight like hell to keep this place.” Luca stated matter of factly.“That’s why we’ve got the upper hand.” Nico said, checking his rifle. “He’s cocky. The flicker of Enzo’s desk lamp cast long shadows across the room. Sienna sat across from him, poring over files that Nico had pulled from Marco’s old safe house. Papers were strewn across the desk, marked with Marco’s sharp, cryptic handwriting.“Have you seen this name before? Javier Solano?” Sienna said pointing to a name scrawled on a document. Enzo leaned forward, narrowing his eyes. “No. Who is he?”“That’s what I’m trying to figure out. His name keeps popping up, linked to Mateo.” Sienna said. “And look at this—” she holds up a letter. “It’s from Marco, addressed to him. He wasn’t just a contact, Enzo. Marco was grooming him for something bigger.”“You’re saying Marco had a backup plan?” Enzo said, voice tightening. “Exactly.” Sienna concurred. “If Marco couldn’t take you down himself, he made sure someone else would pick up where he left off.”“This isn’t just a loose end. The tension in the study was suffocating. Enzo stood by the window, his fingers wrapped tightly around a glass of whiskey. Sienna paced the room, the news Federico had just delivered still ringing in her ears.“Diego’s got Alessandro. Word is, he’s being interrogated.”“Interrogated or tortured?” Enzo said, gritting his teeth. “Does it matter?” Federico asked cynically. “If he hasn’t talked yet, he will soon. He was playing both sides.”Sienna stopped mid-pace. “He might not. My father can manipulate Diego to his own advantage.”Enzo turned to her, his tone sharp. “Don’t be naive. Diego isn’t the type to wait for someone to crack. He’ll break Alessandro, one way or another.”“You think I don’t know that?” Sienna snapped. “He’s my father!”“And that’s exactly why I need you to think clearly. The smell of smoke still lingered in the air as Enzo walked through the charred remains of the warehouse. Broken crates and scorched walls surrounded him, a brutal reminder of the previous night’s retaliatory attack. Federico followed closely behind, his face grim, while Luca and Nico trailed silently.“How did this happen?” Enzo asked coldly.“They came in the middle of the night, fully armed.” Federico grimaced. “They knew the layout, Enzo. Every blind spot, every weak point.”“You’re telling me this was an inside job?” Enzo demanded sharply.“It has to be. There’s no other way they could’ve gotten in this cleanly.” Federico answered grimly.“This is Marco’s mess.” Luca said, tightening his fists. “His betrayal gave them everything they needed.”“It’s not just Marco.” Nico muttered, gritting his teeth. “Diego’s growing bolder. The faint edge of a bandage peeked out beneath the collar of his shirt, evidence of the wound still healing beneath. Lucia toddled across the rug with determined little steps, a stuffed giraffe clutched in her chubby hands. Her giggle echoed through the room, bright and triumphant.“Hey there, bambina,” Luca said, his lips tugging into a grin. “You bringing that to me, or is it a bribe?”“Bibe, ncle Luca!” Lucia babbled as she reached him and dropped the toy into his lap with a high-pitched giggle, wobbling on her feet before plopping onto her bottom.“That’s what I thought,” he murmured, lifting the giraffe and inspecting it with mock seriousness. “You’re trying to win Uncle Luca over with cuteness. Mission accomplished.”From the kitchen, Sienna’s voice floated in. “It’s not hard. You’re already wrapped around her finger.”She entered with a bowl of fruit balanced in her hands, a teasing

He blinked, dazed, the soft glow of the screen illuminating the time—2:47 a.m. Beside him, Sienna stirred, her hand brushing his arm.“Who is it?” she murmured, voice thick with sleep. He didn’t answer. The name flashing on the screen—Nico—already tightened something in his chest. Enzo swiped to answer.“Nico?”“It’s Luca,” Nico’s voice was hoarse, barely above a whisper. “His right-hand man just called me. There was a shootout. He’s been hit bad, Enzo. They’re not sure he’ll make it through the night.”Enzo sat bolt upright, the cold rush of adrenaline flooding his system. “Where?”“An abandoned warehouse off Via Caruso. They moved him to a private clinic on the edge of town. His crew didn’t want to alert the authorities.”Enzo was already out of bed, dragging on his jeans. “I’ll get Federico. Stay by your phone.”He ended the call, only to find Sienna sitting up, her expression taut.“What happened?” she asked,

I’m delivering global.”“Remind me never to underestimate you again.”Federico smirked. “That’s twice this week you’ve said that.”“Because that's twice you’ve shocked him this week. The warm light from the desk lamp cast a soft glow over the dark wood and leather. Enzo sat behind the desk, going over reports. Since you left… there’s no one solid holding things together.”“That’s not my concern anymore.”Luca leaned back, studying him. “You always had the head for order. Even when we were knee-deep in mess, you brought structure. People respected that.”“And feared it,” Enzo muttered. “Don’t romanticize it, Luca.”“I’m not. I’m telling you there’s instability. The late afternoon sun filtered through the kitchen windows, casting a golden hue across the counters. Sienna stood barefoot at the island, cutting strawberries for Lucia, who sat in her high chair, babbling to herself and occasionally tossing fruit to the floor.“Sweetheart,” Sienna said, laughing, “the food goes in your mouth, not under the fridge.”Lucia squealed in delight, clearly unconcerned.Enzo entered, sleeves rolled up, loosened tie around his neck. He leaned down, kissing Lucia’s forehead and then Sienna’s cheek.“Smells good in here,” he murmured.“That’s because it’s strawberries and not one of your protein shakes,” she teased. He chuckled. “Fair.”They watched Lucia for a moment, both quiet.“She’s growing fast,” Sienna said softly. “Seems like just yesterday I was waddling through this house, cursing swollen ankles.”Enzo smiled, resting a hand on her back. “And now she’s tossing berries like confetti.”Sienna turned to look at him. “Have you ever thought about having

Natalia stood off to the side, clipboard in hand, giving her an encouraging nod.“You’ve got this,” Natalia whispered.Sienna smiled, then took a breath and stepped forward.“Thank you all for coming today. I know how hard it can be to walk into a room like this. I’ve been where you are. Caught in a world that told me silence was survival.”A murmur of agreement rippled through the group.“But silence isn’t strength,” Sienna continued. “Community is. And that’s what we’re building here.”After the session ended, Natalia approached her with a wide grin. “You were amazing. The women were hanging on every word.”Sienna exhaled, wiping her palms on her skirt. “I was terrified.”“Didn’t show.”Just then, Sienna’s phone buzzed. It was a picture from Federico—baby Lucia n

They signed.”Enzo blinked. “You closed it?”Federico smirked. “I told you I would.”Enzo stood and walked around the desk. “You got them to agree to our terms? All of them?”“Every single one,” Federico said, voice calm but proud. “Distribution rights, branding control, full autonomy for expansion in the next region.”“Jesus,” Enzo muttered, clapping a hand on his shoulder. “That’s huge, Fed. This deal alone will cover our overhead for the next six months.”Federico chuckled. “Told you to trust me.”“I do trust you,” Enzo said, then added with a smirk, “But I didn’t expect you to wipe the floor with their legal team.”“They tried to box me in,” Federico said, settl
