Gavin's pov

Akela was going crazy, screaming and fighting against me to take control. Still, I was able to hold him back. He was darn sure that she was our mate. Though I couldn't feel the sparks at first, as time passed by, I thought there was a tingle whenever our skin brushed against each other. It was so faint that there were times that I felt that I was imagining it.

Still, Akela had no doubts. Yet, once again, I would have to be patient. She didn't feel the bond. I wasn't the type of a man who would force myself on a woman, even if my wolf was a hundred percent sure that she was mine.

It was a bummer but when she explained about the crisis involving her wolf, I kind of understood. Nonetheless, I was astounded when she started to read about the rebirth of a wolf. It was just a myth… wasn't it?

Still, I wanted to hear her out when we were interrupted. The conversation got disrupted and a more urgent matter arose. At first, I was sceptical about checking Georgette's room. St
