54: More

"What a good view."

She smiled like the view they are seeing in the current time is the view she is wishing to see in her entire life. Watching kids in the park playing, running after one another, laughing with each other, talking and their parents around that are eyeing on them. With just the view, she felt her heart melting.

"I want our kids to play around here," Talia said with a beam forming in her lip. They both sat in the bench facing the park. Then, they both leaned against the backrest and Kiel gripped on Talia's hand as if if he does not hold her, she would appear in any minute.

"Yes, they would ran after one another in that swing," Kiel said and pointed the swing. "And they would go in the slides, laughing. Then us, watching them."

"How many kids do you want?" she asked all of a sudden and look at her man. That is when Kiel pursed his lips into one thin then he shrugged his shoulders off.

"That is not on me, babe. How about you? How many do you want?"

She bit her lower lip and stared at his face that is anticipating for her answer. Then, she looked around the park and let out a light sigh inwardly. "I think two or three," she said with her lips curving.

"Hmm, yeah?" he blinked. "Three are way more better. So, let's go for it?"

"You mean?"

"Let's have three kids."

She nodded her head then they continued to watch kids playing in the park. They can not help but to admire their smiles and laughs. They stayed there for an hour then they decided to take a walk.

"A garden," Talia uttered when she saw a garden not far away from their area where they are standing. There are bunch of flowers there like a flower shop, and grasses on the ground and small trees. The garden is not that huge as you imagine. It is just a simple yard where anyone who wants to be alone can go. They went there and they did not expect to see a river over – flowing behind the trees. They stood in the lane of stones and watch the water that is smoothly flowing down.

"Can we have a swim here?" she asked while chuckling. Then Kiel wrapped his left arm around her waist and kissed her temple.

"We can, I guess. We just have to ask the owner."

They did not have any second to look around and seek for the owner because an old man already appeared beside them. It has scrunches and white mustaches above its lips.

"H-Hello," they greeted the old man awkwardly. Talia then forced a smile. "Are you the owner of this garden?"

The old roamed his eyes around before he got to nod his head as an answer of her question. "Yes, I am. My children helps me to handle this," he said. "This place is to those who love nature and water. I have heard that you would like to swim? You can."

Talia's mouth formed an "o". "Is it free?"

"Yes, young lady," answered him and then he looked at Kiel that is just listening to them. "Is this man your husband? The Ramirez?"

"Ah, no. He is my boyfriend," she answered. Then the old man nodded his head multiple times. He left the two there because they want to swim in the water. Good thing the place is just an exclusive one and quite far away from people who are walking around. Actually, Talia and Kiel was the first one who went inside the garden for the very first two months. It was just that people doesn't care about this garden, that they less appreciate the nature.

"Let's go?" Kiel handed Talia his hand. She did not refuse it, though.

"What about our clothes?"

Kiel shrugged his shoulders off. "We can wear it off. The water is clean, though. And no one is around."

Talia looked around. Yes, she can agree that no one is around but there is a small house not far away from their area, probably that is the house of the old man. Anyway, they can just buy clothes in the mall nearby. They both soaked in the water and laughed as they felt the coldness.

"It is nice here," Talia uttered and then she pushed her hair up down her back. They faced each other, Kiel encircling his arms around her waist and her wrapping her arms in his neck.

"You want this kind of home, right?" asked Kiel while looking around and is smiling. Since it was just the two of them, they can do what they want. They played in the water, kissed and cuddle. They had a great time and once they finished, they get up.

"I hope to get here again soon," she said. She was about to add something when she saw from afar, the old man walking towards them and is holding towels. She automatically smiled and waved her hands a little. "I think he just watch us."

Kiel chuckled. "Yeah, he is. He know me, Tal. I could see hate in his eyes as his eyes darted to me."

She raised her left brows. "How do you say so? Why would he hate you?"

"There are people who hates our family," he simply said. When the man stopped in front of them, he handed them the towel which they did not refuse. "Thanks."

"Thank you," Talia also thanked him. Then the man nodded his head and motioned them to follow him.

"I prepared hot chocolate, you should try it," the man uttered while walking first in the way. Talia and Kiel was busy drying themselves using the towel. "And you can stay there for a moment. I will tell my granddaughter to buy your clothes."

"There is no need actually," Kiel refused. "I mean, we can buy. And we would like to taste your hot chocolate."

The old man just nodded his head. Then they entered inside the small house. The design was classic and as they entered inside, they were like in the past time because of its classical theme. The man told them to sit in the couch with the hot chocolate in front of them in the table.

"Thanks for this," said Talia and then she sipped on it. Kiel was about to stop her when the old man sat in front of them. They have no choice but to continue sipping on the drink in the cup. The man also called his granddaughter and made her to buy their clothes nearby. They just gave money because they cannot refuse.

"So, why are you letting us in?" Talia put the cup down and asked the man.

"I always help," he simply said. "I know you, Talia. You are a Zanea and this man, Alexandro Ramirez."

Talia was surprised when she realized that he know the both of them. While Kiel already expect that. "How do you know, Mister? Uh, can I know your name?"

"I am Cage's father, Lionel Deguzman."

Talia gulped and blinked multiple times. Kiel just simply sipped on his cup and stopped himself from hissing. Just like what he expect, this man know them like he is investigator or a stalker. Kiel already felt it, though.

"Cage? Your son is in the prison," she said. "He was the one who killed my parents and planned to kill us both," she added, referring to herself and Kiel.

The old man seemed in his normal temper. "And the Ramirez's wants your parents' dead. It is just a game, Talia. I am not into my son anyway. I did not like what he is doing and he deserve to stay in jail."

"How are you related to Police Officer Deguzman?" she asked instead of focusing on what he said. "I mean, I knew someone who is a Deguzman –"

"I know no one," he said and cough. Talia and Kiel looked at each other and sipped on their cup again. Talia does not know what to feel and what to react with their conversation right now. She feel like this is not real. Like they were just walking around, went into the garden, the old man appeared and then they swim in the water and after, they met the father of the man they hated the most in their entire life for being a killer and bad guy.

The man's granddaughter came back with their clothes. They already wear it inside the restroom and faced the vanity mirror to see themselves.

"What do you think about him?" asked Talia and looked at Kiel through the reflection of the mirror. Then Kiel hissed.

"He is nice," he simply said. "I thought he would poison us with that hot chocolate, turns out that he hates his son."

"Who would love someone like Cage though?" she chuckled and tiptoed to give Kiel a soft kiss in his lips. She then shut her eyes when she felt something in her head. "I am feeling..." she stated. "My sight is turning around."

They both looked at each other and Kiel was also feeling the same. Before they could utter another word, they both fell in the floor with their eyes close. They lost consciousness. And yes, the old man just poisoned them just like what Kiel expected.

"You poisoned them?" the lady asked her grandfather when she saw them inside the restroom laying in the floor. "Grandpa, why?"

The old man then let out a chuckle. "They should stay here longer."

"Why?" she asked, curious with her brows furrowed. "They are nice, grandpa. They did nothing to you."

"Did nothing?" The man stood up and faced the girl. "They made Cage go in the prison, they hurt him. They hurt our family. They ruined us, Liah. Because of them, it was just us left in our family!"

The girl blinked. "I thought you were already over with that..."

"The pain appeared when they also appeared in our place, Liah," he said in a harsh way, trying to influence his granddaughter with his anger and to carry pain in their entire life.

"What the fuck happened?" that was the first thing Talia let out when she woke up inside a room with one bed and there are no things around other than it and the chair. She found herself in the cold floor.

"Hey."

Talia was shocked when she heard Kiel's voice. That is when she saw him in the other side of the floor, also chained like her. She gulped in awe and creased his brows. "How did we get here, Kiel? Why are we here?"

Kiel then played with the chain like being there was not big of a deal. Like he already know that even if they are chained, they can get a way of going out and getting off this place. "Remember Cage's father?" Kiel asked and Talia nodded in realization.

She slapped herself gently and groaned. "I did not expect him to do this to us. Where are we? What is this place?" she looked around the room. There are no holes or even a window where they can see what is there outside. They were just trapped inside the strong barriers and walls.

"I don't know either about where we are," Kiel answered and heaved a deep sigh. "But maybe, some place that they own. Or an underground of the small house. This room has no window and any holes."

"The hell?" All Talia could utter is a curse because of annoyance. She did not expect to see herself in this kind of place. She tried to get off with the chain but it was just hurting her skin and pulse.

"Stop doing that, Tal," Kiel stopped her. "You are just hurting yourself."

"I just want to get rid of this." She then groaned because the chain was too weighty. She just stood up and walked towards Kiel. She can not help but to feel pity with their situation. "Good thing he kept us together," she said, chuckling.

"Why?" Kiel did not get what she meant but he chuckled. Talia then sat over his lap and stared at his face. "We can have sex with this chains?"

She nodded her head. "Yes. But hey, how about our baby? I was just starting my health pregnancy then here we are, being locked and chained."

Kiel reached for her stomach and caress it like trying to feel their child. "We are sorry for this," he whispered, talking to the baby. "But I will promise to get you out of here together with mommy."

Talia stared more at his handsome face as he continued to talk to their baby inside Talia's stomach. "Mommy and daddy," she muttered, making Kiel to look at him. "I can't believe we are to be a mother and father. Mom and dad, feels so good in the ear."

Kiel agreed. "Yes, it is, my baby mommy."

Talia chuckled and kissed him on his lips in just one second. "My big daddy."

Kiel then cupped her face and started to kiss her on her lips passionately. They were just cuddling for minutes but then they stopped when they heard something cracked outside. It was from the door of the room.

Talia get off from Kiel's lap and they both stood up to face the door. Upon the doorknob twitched, Liah went inside with a tray of food in her hand. She smiled at them apologetically.

"I am sorry for you are experiencing this," she said, voice were serious and sincere. "I talked to my grandfather to let you go but he wants you to suffer here."

"Suffer from what though?" Talia raised her left eyebrow. Yeah, right. Suffer from what?

"For staying here without the sight of beautiful surrounding," she said. "But I will find a way to get you out of here. For now, take this. Do now worry, this is clean and no poison. I cooked it anyway."

Talia and Kiel looked at each other if they should accept the food. But they can not just refuse it because Talia has to eat for the baby. Kiel accept the tray and thanked Liah for her goodness. They see that she is unlike her grandfather. The girl were too good that they would not expect her to hurt anyone.

"And I have heard that you are pregnant," Liah added. "I will send you food anytime so you would not starve and the baby."

Talia could not help but smile. The girl has an angelic personality... and she hope that her baby would be great as her, or more than her.
