Kingston POV

Chapter Eight.

I knew her secret now. I knew the reason she was trying to avoid me. I knew why she didn't want to get close to me. I also knew why she was depriving us of the pleasure of being together. It was all because of the boy who looked so much like me. The boy I had to go back home to check my pictures to confirm that it was the same face I had as a baby. The boy I had decided was my son.

My son.

She did well trying to hide him from me but there was no way a Sanchez was going to live poor. We are wealthy. We are famous and a son of mine won't live in the apartment she was currently living.

Immediately, I discovered the boy was my son, I ran to the apartment but she had packed up. She had left with all of her luggage. I called Miss Andrea and she informed me that she had quit. She was running away from me. I knew that now.

I moved back to my car angrily pressing the horn that some of the neighbours shouted that I should keep it down which of course I ignored. I don't have the luxury of listening to some strangers when my heir was nowhere to be found.

I don't care where she was hiding this time around, I was going to find her. Thankfully, I know her name now. I have her number. I was going to find her and my son. I won't make the same mistake as two years ago.

I dialled her number but it was not going through. Then, I called one of my guys to help me locate her immediately. She pushed me. I was going crazy because I know the longer I take trying to locate her, the further she was slipping from me. But, I don't want her to slip this time around.

It didn't take long for the guy to send me an address. Funny how the place wasn't far from her place. Maybe, she wasn't running away. I took a deep breath, twice before I started driving off.

The neighbour was as bad as hers but still better in a way. There was a security gate, unlike her open space. I was standing in front of the door about to knock on the door when I turned back to see Luisa staring back at me. She was smiling but after recognising me, the smile wiped from her mouth. She was frowning now.

My legs started moving on their own accord until I was standing in front of her. She opened and close her mouth obviously clueless about what to ask. Since I don't have all the time to spend staring at her as I was too eager to finally meet my son.

At first, I did not want to believe I have a son but he looked exactly the way I was. Then there was his age. The last time I saw her plus additional 9 months. Although, I would still have a DNA test to fully confirm that he was my son but for now I just want to hold him in my hands.

I was about to ask where she was keeping my son but she beat me to it, "What are you doing here?"

I knew I was the last person she was expecting to see, especially since I was the reason she was running away.

Funny life.

"Why are you not in your house? Why is it empty?"

She opened and closed her mouth again like the previous time I asked her.

"Where is my son?"

Her eyes got wide. She started at the door, then back at me like I have no idea what I was talking about. "What... What do you mean by your son?" She stammered.

I smiled. If it's a game she wanted to play. I am all for her.

"Exactly, what I mean by my son. Where are you hiding him?"

I moved closer to her, while she moved backwards, trying to block my path back to the doorway.

"Why would I be hiding your son? I don't even know you have a son."

The chuckle that came out of my mouth was a surprise even to me. She was a good liar but the more she was trying to cover this up. The more certain I am that the boy was my son.

"Really, Luisa, You have no idea I have a son."

She nodded.

"Are you trying to play games with me?"

She seemed to have had it because she shouted. "What is your problem? I have no idea what you are trying to ask me. And if you have a son why are you finding him here."

The chuckle was a full blown laughter now. She really thought I was going to fall for the cheap tactics that people are used to. She didn't even try to be original.

"Well, you will know my son after I collect your son from you."

That seems to do the trick because her eyes got wider if that was possible. I was angry at her but she still look ever beautiful and I hated the fact that her eyes were laced with threatened tears.

"See, Luisa, it's not this difficult. I already know your son is. my son. You don't have to hide him from me. Why didn't you tell me about the pregnancy or after you gave birth? I would have been there. "

Her tears were now dripping, "I am sorry, Kings but please don't take Chris away from me. It was not my intention to hide him but I had no idea who you were or where you ljvied. ..

" Really! You don't have to cry. I just want to see my boy."

"You are not here to take him."

Take him? What have her the impression?

"I just want to see him."

She pressed her hands to wipe off the tears. Taking in deep breath. "Are you ready"

I nodded.
