Burned hand

"I will be waiting for you. Come soon." He said and with one last goodbye, he kept the call. Just the moment he was going to put the phone inside his pocket and press on the elevator button, he heard the earth shattering scream.

"HELP!" 

His eyes widened as he immediately recognised the voice. His heartbeat rose on it's own and he became a robot completely, he lost all his power of rational thinking and ran toward the stairs instead of taking the elevator. 

He remembered her saying that she was going to the pantry which was five floors down. Without thinking, he ran down all five pairs of stairs and reached the floor. The pantry was at the end corner of the floor. 

He could hear someone whimper even from there which made him run faster. He was scared. He was truly scared for her. A lot of negative thoughts ran in his head which really wasn't possible inside his office but still
