Mira came to the garden while holding the package in her hand.

I smiled at her, "Did you buy me gifts?"

She flustered, "I can't say; you might find a gift but I guess you must check this."

I tilted my head and grabbed it, "You know that I'm angry with him because he seized the job I wished for."

"I know. It is from me, not him. Considering your latest condition, I decided to buy this."

I opened it and my eyes widened.

"Mira! Pregnancy kit?"

She bobbed her head, "You have the signs, love. Your face has changed, your mood has changed, your diet has changed, and it has been two months since your last period cycle!"

I bit my lower lip. I had no plan for carrying a child! But Edward had unprotected s*x with me a few times or could it be that the morning-after pills didn't work properly? Or I missed one!

Before giving it a few more thoughts, my phone rang and distracted me.

"Excuse me, Mira! Let's talk about this later."

I walked back inside and answered the phone call, it was Arvin.
