Evelyn's POV
We all rode the bus silently, no one uttering a word after I had gone silent. Even Clara and Janice just sat beside me, as they gave physical support for me to be strong.
I took a breath of sigh before snapping everyone's attention to me. "Alright, clearly Xavier is that version of little evil sinister mind that would do anything as a minion of Esmeralda. So, let's stop him."
Silver would've appreciated me for the encouraging small speech I gave right now.
"Um... Eve. We have already been doing that. Why do you think we're on a bus in the first place?" Janice voiced out after a 10-minute silence we had like we were mourning for someone's death.
Well, yeah, death of my love.
"To get a room in a motel and definitely to eat something, 'cause I'm hungry," Clara replied to Janice with her eyes fixated on her phone's screen.
