Blood Moon Pack

I slammed the bedroom door behind me, I had enough of the cruel games. This has happened for the last time. I stormed to the bedroom window and let the tears flow. Looking down below the window I saw my mate Alpha Cylus and his Beta, Beta Jake. They were both hanging off the woman that had become the posion in my marriage. My hand automatically covered my stomach as I took a breath in and closed my eyes. 

My name is Jayla and I am suppose to be the Luna of our pack. The Bloodmoon Pack. I am Alpha Cylus's fated mate and I am 3 months pregnant with the Alpha Heir. When I opened my eyes again my face went stern. My tears stopped. I wiped my eyes with the back of my hand. Turned and walked to the wardrobe. I pulled out my suitcase and placed it on the bed. I packed my clothes, only the clothes I came with. I took my important documents out from the drawer and placed them in my case. Then I slowly picked up mine and Cylus wedding picture. I stopped and memoried flooded my mind.

I was brought here at the age of 10. Both my parents had died in a car accident and my Uncle Mathew bought me here to this pack. Life was silent for me at first, I kept myself away from everyone. I only came down for meals when Aunt Marie called. My uncle and aunty are lovely people but they weren't my parents. 

I missed them both. I woke with nightmares almost every night. I was in the car with them that night. No one know's how I survived but I did. At first no kids would play with me. When I went to school everyone ignored me, they moved out of the way when i walked towards them, they really didn't want anything to do with me. Pack meetings were worse. Everyone would whisper and stare. Some kids used to sneer at me and call me names. 

When I got into high school, thats when the bullying started. I got into lots of fights. But I still wouldn't get close to anyone.  One girl in particular was a pain in my side. Janet the queen bee of the school, well thats what she liked to tell herself on a daily basis. I put up with the torment from her and her cling ons. But when I decided to fight back, they decided that was voilence that no one in the school could tolerate. 

I remember a time when Janet and her croonies had cornered me. They beat me, ripped my clothes and tore my school books. I walked home alone bruised and bloodied. I never told my Uncle or Aunt about it, even though they would often see bruises on my hands and face. I just use to tell them i'd sort it or that I fell. No one knew what I was going through. 

Now the bitch was back. Here in our pack. Janet was from the pack bordering ours. The Nightingale Pack. Nightingale yeah right, there was nothing sweet and nice about that bitch. I was angry really angry. Angry at myself for allowing it to happen. The humiliation and the disrespect not just from my mate but from the majority of all pack members. 

Cylus was never a loving romantic kind of man. But he was gentle to me, well until the day when that bitch came to our home and caused problems. It happened about 3 months ago. Cylus was hosting a charity gala for the all the orphan children. It was happening the same day I had found out I was pregnant. I was so excited and rushed home. But before I reached the pack house I decided I would announce it at the Gala that night. 

I folded the report in my hand and stuffed it into my bag. I smiled and carried on walking to the pack house. When I entered one of the Omega's approached me and told me that Cylus was out at the training fields. I decided to go and see him. Apart from the night I conceived our baby I couldn't remember the last time when we actually did anything together. I practically ran up the stairs and into our room. I changed my clothes and headed for the training field. 

As I got closer that's when I saw them. Cylus had his hands on either side of Janet's waist. They were staring into each others eyes. You could practically feel the over whelming desire sweep over the entire field. Pack members stopped and looked at them. They saw me enter the field and their heads went from them to me then back again. Cylus didn't even know I had got there. Janet was all he could see right then. 

My breath hitched in my throat. I just stood there looking at them both. I noticed Janet's hands were planted on Cylus's chest. I couldn't say a word. No words would come. My eyes welled with tears but I wouldn't let them fall. I heard a few whispers coming from the trainees and warriors. I saw Beta Jake look at me with a sympathic look on his face. He approached Cylus and whispered in his ear. 

Cylus quickly took a step back and coughed in his hand before turning and looking at me. Janet's hands held in mid air. I stared at him as he took the first step towards me. I turned and walked away. I heard him calling my name, I ignored him. My heart was beating so hard and so fast. I had just caught my mate lusting over another she wolf. 

I din't go back home, I went to my auntie's home. As I walked up the garden path I could smell her cookies baking in the oven. I knocked on the door and waited for her to answer. When she opened the door I just stared at her then my tears fell.
