The brass desk clock ticked softly on the corner of the mahogany surface, completely drowned out by the sound of heavy, ragged breathing and the soft, wet friction of skin meeting skin.

Julian sat on the polished edge of his desk, his thighs spread wide around Gabriel’s massive hips. His crisp white dress shirt hung ruined and open, the buttons scattered across the thick carpet alongside balance sheets and corporate ledgers. His dark hair was chaotic, falling over his forehead, and his dark gray eyes were glassy, dark, and utterly consumed by the man towering over him.

Gabriel didn't move fast. He possessed the terrifying patience of an executioner who knew his victim had nowhere left to run.

His large, calloused hands worked with methodical precision, unbuckling Julian’s belt with a heavy metallic clink. His pale hazel eyes remained fixed on Julian's face, watching every shuddering breath, every flicker of surrender that passed across Julian's sharp, aristocratic features.

"Look at you," Gabriel growled softly, his voice a low, gravelly vibration that settled deep in Julian’s belly. He slid the leather belt free and tossed it onto the floor. "The pristine Julian Vance. Sitting on a seventy-thousand-dollar desk with his trousers undone, begging a criminal to take him."

Julian’s chin came up automatically, a instinctual flash of his ingrained pride flaring through the haze of raw desire. "I haven't... begged for anything, Gabriel."

Gabriel let out a dark, low chuckle. He reached down, his heavy fingers hooking into the waistband of Julian’s trousers and briefs, stripping them down Julian’s long, lean legs in one smooth, unyielding motion. Cold office air hit Julian’s exposed skin, making him shiver violently—a shiver that turned into a sharp, hitched breath as Gabriel’s large, burning palmcupped the bare weight of his thigh, lifting Julian’s leg to rest over his broad hip.

"Not yet," Gabriel whispered, leaning in until his lips brushed against Julian’s jawline, down to the quick, hammering pulse at his throat. "But you will before I’m done with you."

Julian gripped Gabriel’s broad shoulders, his nails digging through the fabric of Gabriel’s black shirt. He felt the corded muscle underneath, hard as iron. He was completely exposed—stripped bare in his own executive sanctuary while Gabriel remained fully dressed, heavy, imposing, and completely in control.

"Do it then," Julian rasped, his voice rough, stripped of all high-society polish. He tightened his legs around Gabriel’s waist, pulling him closer until his bare, aching length pressed against the thick denim of Gabriel’s jeans. "Stop talking and do it."

Gabriel’s grip on Julian's thigh tightened to the point of bruising, a deliberate assertion of raw force. "You don't command me, Vance. You surrender to me. Remember who owns this floor tonight."

Gabriel reached behind his back, unbuckling his own belt and unzipping his jeans. He didn't bother taking them off. He simply freed his massive, heavy length, already slick with pre-cum, thick and dark against the pale skin of Julian’s inner thighs.

He didn't use modern luxuries. Gabriel reached out, grabbing a small bottle of leather conditioning oil from the drawer of Julian's desk, popping the top with his teeth and spattering the slick liquid over his heavy fingers.

Julian’s breath caught in his chest. "Gabriel—"

"Quiet," Gabriel commanded softly.

He slid two thick, slick fingers between Julian's cheeks, finding his tight, unyielding heat. Julian let out a choked gasp, his head snapping back against the mahogany desk, his knuckles turning white where he held onto Gabriel’s shoulders. The invasion was sharp, blunt, and completely unhurried. Gabriel worked his fingers inside him, pressing against the sensitive walls, stretching him with a ruthless, calculated efficiency that made Julian's hips jerk violently.

"Fuck, Julian," Gabriel muttered, watching the way Julian’s throat strained, the pale column of his neck flushed dark red. "You’re so tight. Like you’ve never let anyone inside this sweet, delicate body."

"I haven't..." Julian gasped out, his fingers twisting into Gabriel’s shirt collar, pulling him down. "Not... not like this. Never like this."

Gabriel’s eyes darkened into pure pitch. The admission—that this pristine, icy heir had reserved this level of raw, degrading surrender for him alone—snapped the last thread of Gabriel’s restraint.

He withdrew his fingers and replaced them instantly with the blunt, massive head of his cock.

Julian braced himself, his toes curling against the edge of the desk, his eyes locking onto Gabriel’s. "Gabriel, wait—"

Gabriel didn't wait. He gripped Julian’s hips with iron hands and drove forward, burying himself fully inside Julian in one long, devastating push.

A high, breathless cry ripped from Julian's throat, echoing off the glass walls seventy-two stories above the city. The sensation was overwhelming—a split second of sharp, tearing stretch followed instantly by an explosion of dark, blinding heat that filled him completely. He felt stretched to his absolute limit, claimed from the inside out by a man who represented everything meant to destroy his family.

Gabriel froze, buried deep within Julian, his heavy chest heaving against Julian’s bare torso. Sweat glistened on Gabriel’s forehead, his jaw clenched tightly as he fought to control the urge to tear Julian apart right then and there.

"Look at me," Gabriel rasped, his voice hoarse and commanding.

Julian forced his eyes open. Tears of sharp pleasure and tension pricked the corners of his dark gray eyes, but he held Gabriel’s gaze.

"You're taking all of it," Gabriel growled softly, slowly pulling back until only the tip remained inside, before slamming back in with a heavy, wet thud. "Every inch."

Julian let out a ragged moan, his hands sliding up to grip the back of Gabriel’s head, pulling Gabriel down into a deep, desperate kiss. The rhythm was established instantly—brutal, heavy, and unrelenting. Gabriel lifted Julian slightly off the desk, using his physical strength to control every stroke, thrusting deep into Julian's tight, slick heat with a relentless, punishing pace that rattled the heavy mahogany furniture.

The sound filled the quiet office—the rhythmic, wet slap of skin, the heavy creaking of the desk, and Julian's broken, breathless moans that grew louder with every drive of Gabriel’s hips.

Julian was spinning out of control. The rigid discipline he had maintained for thirty years was incinerated. He arched his back, pressing his chest against Gabriel’s, his own unattended length leaking slick against their stomachs with every heavy thrust.

"Gabriel... fuck... Gabriel!" Julian sobbed out, his voice cracking as Gabriel hit a deep, sensitive spot inside him over and over again, sending waves of electrical shock straight to his spine.

"That's it," Gabriel rasped, his teeth grazing Julian’s shoulder, biting down hard enough to leave a deep red mark over his collarbone. "Say my name, Vance. Tell me who you belong to right now."

"You," Julian gasped, completely undone, his body shaking uncontrollably beneath Gabriel’s weight. "You... Gabriel... please!"

"Good boy," Gabriel growled into his ear.

Gabriel adjusted his angle, reaching down between them with one large, slick hand, wrapping his heavy fingers around Julian’s straining cock. He pumped his hand in perfect sync with his heavy, pounding thrusts, working Julian toward the edge of an abyss.

The combination was too much. The brutal physical invasion, the slick friction of Gabriel’s hand, and the intoxicating humiliation of surrendering completely in his own office shattered Julian’s restraint entirely.

With a choked, shattered cry, Julian came hard, his body convulsing as thick, white hot spurts rained across Gabriel’s hand and their tangled stomachs. His inner walls clamped down tight around Gabriel’s thick length, milking him violently.

Gabriel let out a low, guttural roar at the sudden, intense suction. He drove into Julian three more times—hard, deep, and desperate—before burying himself to the hilt and coming inside Julian with a heavy, shuddering pulse that seemed to go on forever.

Silence reclaimed the executive suite, heavy and suffocating.

The rain continued to beat against the glass outside, a dull, steady background roar. Inside, the only sound was the harsh, synchronized breathing of the two men, still locked together on the edge of the mahogany desk.

Gabriel remained buried deep inside Julian for a long moment, his heavy weight pressing Julian down against the wood, his face buried in the crook of Julian’s neck. His skin was burning hot, slick with sweat, smelling of cedar, leather, and sex.

Julian lay back against the desk, his body limp, his dark hair plastered to his forehead. He stared up at the dim ceiling lights, his chest rising and falling in shallow, exhausted gasps. The physical pain was fading into a deep, heavy ache low in his pelvis, accompanied by an overwhelming sense of dark, irreversible release.

Slowly, Gabriel pulled back, slipping out of Julian’s slick heat with a soft, wet sound that made Julian wince slightly.

Gabriel stepped back, adjusting his clothes with calm, practiced efficiency. He zipped his jeans, buckled his leather belt, and wiped his slick hand on a handkerchief he pulled from his pocket, tossing the soiled cloth onto the desk beside Julian.

Julian didn't move immediately. He lay on the desk, his legs still parted, his exposed skin marked with red handprints and bite marks. He felt the warm, heavy drip of Gabriel’s release leaking out from between his thighs, a visceral reminder of what had just transpired.

Gabriel leaned over him, resting one hand on the desk near Julian's head, looking down at him with a dark, unreadable expression. The predatory edge was still there, but beneath it lay something heavier—a dark, possessive fixation that had officially crossed a line.

"Clean yourself up, Vance," Gabriel said softly, his gravelly voice returning to its cool, controlled cadence. "You have a meeting with your father at nine tomorrow morning."

Julian slowly sat up, leaning on his elbows, his dark eyes locking onto Gabriel’s. Despite his ruined appearance, his voice retained a quiet, deadly composure. "And what happens now, Gabriel? You go back to Varga and report that the collateral is secured?"

Gabriel reached out, his thumb catching a drop of sweat near Julian’s temple, tracing it down his cheekbone.

"Now," Gabriel whispered, his eyes dark and absolute, "I watch you go home to your wife. And tomorrow night... I take you again."

Gabriel turned without another word, picking up his dark jacket, and walked out of the executive suite, leaving the oak doors swinging shut behind him.

Julian remained sitting on the edge of his desk in the dark, touching his swollen lips, knowing that his life, his marriage, and his soul were officially forfeit.

  • Bound in shadows   CHAPTER 6 - Shadows at the Auction

The Kensington Gallery was a fortress of gilded molding, white marble columns, and crystal chandeliers suspended forty feet above a sea of tailored velvet and silk. Tonight’s private charity auction was an exercise in performative philanthropy. The city's top five hundred families had gathered to bid on rare eighteenth-century oil paintings, vintage Cartier jewelry, and stolen antiquities—all while quietly negotiating corporate takeovers and political favors in the curtained alcoves surrounding the main floor. Julian stood beside his father in the primary box overlooking the auction stage. He wore a midnight-blue velvet tuxedo, the high silk collar tailored specifically to conceal the faint, fading purple shadow on his collarbone. His posture was immaculate, his arms folded loosely behind his back, his expression a mask of cool, aristocratic boredom. But beneath his calm exterior, his senses were tuned to a violent frequency. "The Senator’s wife is looking at you, Julian," Domini

The shower water was scalding, turning the white Carrara marble of the private bathroom into a steamy, suffocating vault.Julian stood beneath the deluge, his forehead pressed flat against the cold stone tile. The water stung his skin, turning it a deep, mottled red, but no matter how high he turned the temperature, he couldn't wash away the ghost of Gabriel Cross’s touch.Every muscle in his body throbbed with a heavy, satisfying ache. His lower back was stiff, his thighs felt weak, and when he reached down to wash himself, the tender, swollen tissue between his cheeks burned with a fierce, unmistakable heat. On his collarbone, right above the sharp line of his left shoulder, a dark purple bite mark was blooming like an ink stain beneath his pale skin.He raised his head, staring into the fogged mirror mounted above the vanity. He wiped a hand across the glass, clearing a circle to look at his reflection. His lips were still swollen, dark red from Gabriel’s brutal mouth. His dark gra

  • Bound in shadows   CHAPTER 3 - Fractured Glass

The penthouse floor of Vance Tower was built entirely of steel, smoked glass, and silence. From the seventy-second story, Manhattan was reduced to a grid of flickering lights beneath a suffocating blanket of low-hanging fog. Inside the boardroom, the air smelled faintly of dry-cleaned wool, expensive leather, and old money.Dominic Vance stood at the head of the polished teak conference table, his back to the floor-to-ceiling windows. He was fifty-eight years old, his silver hair brushed back cleanly, his dark tailored suit immaculate. He possessed the kind of stern, patrician authority that had allowed him to govern boardrooms for thirty years—and bankrupt his family's legacy in five."You were forty-five minutes late, Julian," Dominic said, his voice flat, devoid of paternal warmth. He didn't look up from the leather folder he was reviewing. "Victoria told me you took the coupe. She said you looked unfocused."Julian sat across from his father, his dark coat draped over the back of

  • Bound in shadows   CHAPTER 2 - Eyes in the Dark

The Vance family estate in Westchester was a sprawling limestone mansion designed to evoke European nobility, but to Julian, it was merely an oversized tomb with high ceilings and central heating. At seven-thirty on a drizzling Tuesday morning, Julian sat at the mahogany dining table in the sunroom. A sterling silver coffee pot rested on a tray beside a folded copy of the Financial Times. Victoria sat across from him, her iPad propped against a crystal water glass as her manicured finger flicked rhythmically through morning market reports."Your father called at six," Victoria said without looking up. The morning light caught the sharp angles of her face, making her look like a statue carved from salt. "He wants you at the holding firm by ten. The auditors are pressing for the collateral documentation regarding the waterfront commercial properties."Julian took a slow sip of black coffee. The bitter liquid did little to cut the knot of tension coiled tight in the pit of his stomach. "

  • Bound in shadows   CHAPTER 1 - The Silk Cage

The double-knotted silk of Julian’s necktie felt less like high fashion and more like a velvet garrote. He stood before the floor-to-ceiling mirror in the private suite above the Grand Ballroom of the Bellevue Hotel, adjusting the crisp, ivory edge of his pocket square. Every line of his charcoal bespoke tuxedo was immaculate. His dark hair was combed back with clinical precision; his sharp jawline was shaved clean; his dark gray eyes were completely devoid of warmth. To the outside world, Julian Vance was the picture of generational wealth and unflappable aristocratic composure. To himself, he was an expensive piece of collateral hanging from a silk thread."You’re staring into the glass like you expect a ghost to look back, Julian."The voice was cool, cultured, and utterly detached. Victoria stepped into the frame of the mirror behind him, the heavy silk of her emerald gown whispering against the marble floor. She looked exquisite—sculpted bone structure, ice-blonde hair pinned up
