Charity POV

"What happened to you?" Dr. Mason asked me as he plastered my hand with a bandaid.

"Nothing," I replied to him.

"Nothing? How did you sustain the injuries and all the bruises?" He asked again, and I sighed briefly as I stood up and adjusted my cloth.

"I told you nothing. I'm fine," I replied to him again and headed to the door to go meet Chase outside since he was still waiting for me.

"Denver's High... Are the students bullying you?" I stopped on my track and slowly clenched my fingers beside me, my heart wrenched painfully.

"You should report to the police if they are. Maybe the police will be able to help you," He further said, but I bit my bottom lip, trying hard to fight back the tears that threatened to leave my eyes. I could do anything, but reporting to the police is a mistake I would never want to make, trust me. Maybe I would be ready to leave the school if I have the guts to tell the cops about it, because I know the cops would never do anything to th
