Willing to Let Go

Julian was enjoying tea by the fireplace. He saw a black silhouette around him.

"You're finally here, Bastian," Julian grinned.

Bastian walked up to him with an angry look.

"Have you come to avenge me? Or do you want to kill me? Just kill me," Julian laughed, making Bastian clench his hands tightly.

"Why?"

"Bastian, I know you helped Davero escape and caused Jacob's car to roll off the cliff. I know you're on his side. Was it because of that girl? You ended up falling in love with that girl." Julian chuckled. "It's true that love can make people stupid."

"This is your first warning. I'm still giving you a chance because I think of myself as my own son. If I wanted to, I could kill you all!" Julian exclaimed, and Bastian chuckled.

"Why?" asked Julian.

"You think I can't kill you, Mr. Julian?" asked Bastian without calling Dad. "You're keeping me because I'm still useful to you, right?"

Bastian sighed as he shoved his hands into his pants pockets.

"Mr. Julian, let's work together this t
