The party was finally over and Martin and Caitlyn were on their way out after saying goodbye to madam Scarlett. Caitlyn was feeling somewhat shy around Martin after sitting on his thighs until the closing of the party.

"Martin!" A female voice that sounded confident and sweet stopped Martin and Caitlyn from taking their final step out of the hall.

'It's probably another business partner. Will they not even let us leave here peacefully?' Caitlyn complained inwardly.

Both of them turned fully to face the caller, and Caitlyn's jaw dropped. She looked extraordinarily stunning!

She was dressed in the exact way as Caitlyn, but the latter was too busy admiring the woman's face to notice her dress. It was only when Martin's deep voice sounded that she returned to herself.

"Veronica." The woman approached them with a smile and stopped only when stood a few inches away from them.

Although Martin tried to maintain his cool, Caitlyn could see that he wasn't himself. He let out a h
