Chapter 4: You Said Enough, So It's Enough.

"What do you mean?" Before anyone could react, they heard a cracking sound. Along with the sound of bones dislocating, a scream echoed through the private room. The man's right hand was twisted unnaturally, but Asher remained expressionless, fingers still locked at the man's right hand joint.

Not only his wrist, but he even broke the bones of the man's fingers. It was cruel and ruthless! As if he was merely doing something ordinary and simple, just like an ordinary person eating or drinking tea.

The man screamed in agony, and a few customers who were initially stunned rushed forward, attempting to intervene. However, their persuasion had no effect whatsoever.

Vivienne stared in astonishment at Asher. He was still the same as before, capable of displaying such expression and performing ruthless acts.

The screams grew fainter, gradually fading away. If he didn't stop soon, the man's condition would likely worsen.

"That's enough," Vivienne spoke up. Two simple words, but they made Asher, who was previously unaffected by anyone's persuasion, halt his actions.

He turned his head, his jet-black eyes staring at her. "Is it enough?" he asked.

"Yes, it's enough," she replied.

Asher released his grip, slowly walking back to Vivienne's side. He leaned in, meeting her gaze with his eyes, which were filled with a gentle smile, a mix of fondness and a hint of childishness. In an instant, he mesmerized her!

In this city, the name Asher represented ruthlessness, decisiveness, and unpredictability to some people. He usually showed no interest in ordinary people or things, to the extent that a certain female celebrity once privately remarked that even if she stood naked in front of him, his gaze would still be empty. It was as if nothing existed in his eyes.

But now, this man, with such a reputation, was whispering tenderly to an ordinary waitress, wearing a smile that carried a touch of childishness. It surprised everyone, not only Lily and the manager who were present, but even those who came with Asher, their eyes widened in disbelief.

How was this possible?!

However, moments later, their eyes grew even wider.

Asher opened his arms and embraced Vivienne, holding her tightly. "I miss you so much." he buried his head in her shoulder, displaying an infinite attachment.

Her nostrils were filled with the scent of red wine. Vivienne instinctively tried to break free from the embrace but ended up being held even tighter. His strong arms gripped her waist and spine, causing her bones to ache.

"Let go, I'm still at work," she struggled to say.

"And what does that matter?" His breath brushed against her ear as he spoke softly.

Yes, she had always known that these things were irrelevant to him. After some thought, Vivienne spoke up, "Let's talk in a different place after I finish work."

This place was definitely not suitable for a reunion conversation.

"Alright," he agreed, finally releasing the embrace and taking her hand, walking towards the door of the private room.

"Wait, I haven't..." Vivienne's words were interrupted by the manager's hurried voice, "It's fine, Vivienne, you can leave for today." At this moment, who would dare to stop them!
