Twenty Three

When Alpha Cole finally left, I shut the door behind him and threw the lock. I turned to stare at my now vacant living space, with him here the small space had felt almost suffocating, that man had a way of sucking up everything around him, consuming my reality until only he existed. Dear goddess, what was I thinking agreeing to meet him again tomorrow! In less than 12 hours he’d caused so much emotional upheaval the only thing I should be doing is avoiding him at all costs.
