Ruby Moon, Ella Moon's sister

RUBY~

I left the rooftop and joined the other in the big hall. The director and the producer has arrived, the actresses are getting ready for the show. 

I sighed. I adjusted my dress to go meet with the director and the producer like Mr Clinton had advised. 

In a corner, I sighted Ella seated amongst several make-up artists doing this and that on face. 

I sighed. And moved forward, "Hello, Mr Coker."

The Producer frowned. "You are....?

Eww, how can he not remember me again when he's one of the biggest encouragers that made me quit two years ago? 

"Oh, Mr clinton don't you remember me? I'm Ruby. Ruby Moon, Ella's sister" 

This is the fastest way he could remember me with. The  Prodiucer snapped up immediately as if he just got his brain back, "Why are you back here?" 

"I came for....." 

 "Oh, you came for audition right? You can talk to my assistant for the audition. I don't care about that." He replied sharply and continued what he's doing. 

This got me surprised the the more. What a change of demeanor and character. Well, it's hard to get popularProducer like this for work, since I had worked with him before, but had to leave for marriage, the chance that he'll take me back is slim.

Well, I have to continue trying my luck, "Direct coker, I know that I'm here too late, but I'm now divorced and I'm ready to work now, you can...."

" I personally told you that I can't work with a married young actress right? So what's the deal even if you're divorced?" 

I don't know how to deal with this man than to just be in my best behavior despite the anger I was feeling down inside of me. Hearing the fact that I'm once married over is very disgusting to be sincere. 

Pyrrhus is right. They only need the light when it's burning low. They only want an unmarried actress who hasn't known much about life. They only want the Ruby Moon from before that wears Ella's hand-me down clothes. 

Still yet, I pressed, "Micheal and I are divorces, that's why I'm here to see you ..."

"Alright."Producer Coker interrupted me expressionlessly and mercilessly, "Alright, there's no point in trying to flatter me. Your capabilities at the audition will decide if you're worth keeping or not"

"I ..."

I made to talk again but the prodcer turned around and went inside without looking at me.

I dejectedly turned to go after him, could only chase after him. However, I wasn't able to keep up with his pace because several actresses had flooded him again. 

Disappointedly, I turned around to go have a seat and wait untill I was called for the audition when the director walked up to me, "Ain't you the extra that casted in TEARS OF THE SUN two years ago?" 

Wow. Someone still know me? My eyes brighten up immediately and flaunt my signature smile, "Yes sir. I'm Ruby Moon, Director, did you know me?"

"Yeah, I've seen your shows. Although you don't have many scenes, your performance is remarkable. But why did you quit?" 

I sighed. This is where the problem comes from, 'You're good, you're this, you're that', everything is still going to... 'Why did you quit' 

I'm even tired of saying it repeatedly, but this is the director of the movie, he has a say in the casting and i can't afford to let Pyrrhus down at this rate. 

I raised my head with a pleasure smile, "I quit for marriage, I only hope that I can get a chance to audition."

The director looked at me, his gaze becoming more and more kind. "Okay, I'll talk to the producer.  You can go back now and come for the audition in a few days."

I was surprised, I looked at him in shock. "Really?"

"Of course." He smiled and looked at her meaningfully. "Do your best."

After that, I rushed back to the rooftop where Pyrrhus said he'll wait for me when I was about to leave earlier. 

He had been given a chair which he sat on elegantly, I stopped at the door and watched him look at the documents in his hands with seriously and stern expression and I can't help the smile. 

So I'll be seeing this handsome face for the next five months? I chuckled sneakily but he seems to have noticed me so he looked up. 

Pyrrhus's face broke into a handsome smile but instantly, It turned neutral. How can he flip his emotions like this? 

"Are you fine? You seem to be in a good mood?" he asked.

I left the corner and walked over. I stood behind him and placed my hands on his shoulders, "The Producer  I had worked with rejected me mercilessly just now but the director saw the potential in me and wants me to come for audition in few days"

Pyrrhus dropped the documents, "But that's not a big deal?" 

"Not a big deal?" I furrowed my brows and left his back, "Just now, a big director agreed to let me audition for his movie. I just knew that he's already heard of me two years ago. Even the producers know my face, don't you know this is where it starts?" 

I can't help my joy as I laughed again. 

Pyrrhus looked at me as if I was mad but I'm ain't mad, I know what I'm saying. How I wished he could understand the joy of an actress that was known by someone.
