Lucky's POV

I did everything to avoid Damien the whole day. Mr. Keller and the others started inspecting the island, particularly the spot where the hotel will be constructed. I was listening to them, following them everywhere they went but I kept my distance from Damien. Whenever I see him looking at me, I will immediately look away and move away from him.

"I want to put glamping domes here, Architect, Engineer." The owner has been talking about the things he wanted for the resort to Mr. Keller and Damien.

My eyes remained on Damien as he listened to the owner of the island. He's so tall and lean compared to the other men here. He stood out among them and I can't help but admire how he reached his dreams of becoming an Engineer. He fulfilled his dreams. I envy him but I didn't regret my decisions back then.

After the inspection, Mr. Keller told us to take a rest. There are cabins here and I'm staying with the two female engineers from Damien's team.
