30 (Chance and Malcom)

Malcom sat in his car, on the curb, waiting for Kristoff to leave so he could go have a word with Chance. But with each time the entrance door opened up, it was either a delivery person or someone that lived there.

Then he finally left, and immediately Malcom drove up with his unmarked car to take Kristoff’s spot.

The buzzer at the front entrance to the apartment where Chance lived went off. It buzzed three times, signalling that someone wanted to either speak with him or come up.

"Hello?" Chance pressed the receiver button.

"Is this Chance?" The male voice asked.

"A friend."

Chance scoffed into the speaker.

"It's Malcom, Kristoff's best friend."

"He isn't here."

"I know that. Can I come up? I wish to speak with you."
