Kisses in the Dark

The gala had started. Michael was occasionally glancing at Killian who was talking to the same old, rich people who always attended those gatherings.

Some of the guests were new faces, others were actually really young but still that rich.

“How’s it going?” Jesse came to stand next to him, as they were staying to the sides, being invisible to the guests.

“Not much. You?”

Then Jesse gave him an up and down look.

“What?” Mike asked.

“You smile too much. “ then his partner’s eyes fell on the perfectly made tie Make was wearing.

And he gasped.

“You fucking idiot.”

He grabbed Michael by the forearm and clenched his hand around him.

“What are you doing?” Mike asked and Jesse hissed at him.

“Because of my tie?”

“Not because of the stupid tie. You smell like him. Are you crazy? Why were you close to the boss?”

“I am his bodyguard. “
