Chapter 3: Dirty bitch!

Karen Goodwill stares blankly at Gordon Williams, who is getting closer and closer to her. Her whole body suddenly becomes tense, but do not dare to show her weakness. She turns away, letting out a frustrated sigh.

“Why are you so indifferent when you meet someone you know?”

Gordon Williams has just ordered a self-serve breakfast and coffee, then leisurely walks over to Karen Goodwill and smirks at her. Karen Goodwill is about to stand up, but her arm is grabbed by the shameless guy. He takes off his sunglasses, grins, and sit down in front of her.

“Mr. Gordon Williams, you have your wife, we'd better break up with each other. I'm living a very peaceful life, I don't want to get involved with a married person.”

Karen Goodwill waves her hand, sighing helplessly at Gordon Williams' wobbly appearance. However, in response to her exasperation, he smiles innocently and says:

“Still entwining with each other last week, how can we stop now?”

It's so frustrating! Karen Goodwill desperately wants to slam the hot coffee on the table in the face of the shameless stallion Gordon Williams. However, her mind told her not to be impulsive. He is the young master of the Williams family, heir to the second-highest stake in the Williams Gems Group. Disappointing him, maybe she has nowhere to hide!

“What should I do to make you let me go?”

Karen Goodwill has no choice but to sit down and beg Gordon Williams. However, contrary to her thoughts that he would make a dozen excessive demands, Gordon Williams suddenly sighs and then remains silent. He says nothing more, but quietly takes a sip of his coffee.

An awkward silence slips between Karen Goodwill and Gordon Williams. To be honest, they used to be just a partnership, one was a seller, the others was a spender, very fair. No one owes the other, no one loves the other, and no one hates the other.

“It doesn't matter, I'm not in a good mood, I just want to find someone to vent to.”

Gordon Williams breaks the ice with his casual words. Karen Goodwill curiously askes with her eyebrow frowning:

“Why me?”

“Because you are not like them. You're not from the upper class, you don't work for any family or corporation - said Gordon Williams with a smile on his face - You're just an ordinary flower girl.”

Karen Goodwill glances at Gordon Williams with eyes filled with astonishment. How does he know that her current job is the owner of a flower shop? Five years with Gordon, apart from supporting her ailing father, Karen also accumulated a decent amount of money, enough for her to fulfill her dream: opening a flower shop. Looking at Gordon's satisfied expression, Karen sighs slightly, she suddenly feels that she is about to face a lot of trouble.

Forget about it, it's no use getting mad at Gordon Williams!

“What you said that night… is it true?”

Karen Goodwill asks hesitantly. Gordon Williams wasn't afraid to tell her everything, and she has no reason to keep it a secret. After all, every human being has a natural curiosity about the world, not to mention this is a truly shocking story. Gordon Williams sighs. That night, because he was drunk, he confided in Karen Goodwill. Come to think of it, luckily the target was Karen Goodwill. If it was a talkative woman of some kind, maybe Williams Gems Group's young master being cheated on would spread all over the newspapers.

Gordon Williams sighs, keeps silent for a moment, and then replies:

“For Sophia Joyner's sake, I gave up all my previous bad habits, brought her to the Williams family as a young lady, and divided shares in the Group to her. Unexpectedly behind my back, Sophia Joyner would perform such a despicable act.”

Karen Goodwill frowns, sitting quietly listening to Gordon Williams speak. She has known Gordon Williams for five years, he had never shared such things with outsiders, proving that now, things must be more serious than what he told her, and his mood must be surely worse than he appears on the outside.

Maybe Gordon is really going through a tough time. Witnessing his wife betray him is painful and humiliating, let alone a famous and wealthy CEO like him. This seems to make Karen have some sympathy for Gordon.

After a while, Gordon almost does not want to talk about Sophia Joyner's betrayal anymore. He talked about his recent job in the Williams Gems Corporation, which filled Karen with excitement. But…

“You know, my dad, he's really domineering. And I'm feeling extremely suffocated. - Said Gordon Williams with his chagrin.”

“You'd better think that your father is healthy now, it's God's blessing. - Karen speaks in a soft voice, trying to calm Gordon's sadness.”

Gordon says nothing, he just shakes his head helplessly. Of course, Gordon loves his father, but in his family, love seems to be the most useless thing.

Karen Goodwill is about to say something to comfort Gordon Williams, something clumsy that she comes up with. But before she could open her mouth, the hair on the back of her neck was grabbed by someone forcefully.

“You filthy whore, how dare you seduce a married man? Get people out here and see, this whore seduces married men!”

Gordon Williams and Karen Goodwill are startled but do not have time to react when the woman's harsh scolding enters their ears. She forcefully grabs Karen Goodwill by the hair, jerking her back, causing her to fall to the ground.

“Sophia Joyner! Have you lost your mind?”

Gordon Williams is surprised by the appearance of Sophia Joyner, plus the hatred accumulated over the past few months he has for that psychotic and lustful woman, he angrily grabs her wrist, intends to knock her out. However, before Gordon Williams has time to take action, Karen Goodwill quickly reaches behind, tugs on the chiffon dress that Sophia Joyner is wearing, causing it to tear a huge piece.

“Ahh! This dirty whore!”

Sophia Joyner shouts, quickly covering her exposed body with her hands. Karen Goodwill immediately stands up, shoving Sophia Joyner away with force. Unexpectedly, she broke her heel and fell into the lake.
