Aery's POV

Waking up early, I stood in front of the mirror completely blank, without any knowledge of my surroundings. It was 4 in the morning and I was up as usual but today it was different. It was different because I had so many thoughts running in my mind looking at that reddish mark on my neck. It wasn't painful but it looked like a bruise as if something hit me or maybe some mosquito bite but....what was surprising was...I couldn't remember a single thing about what had happened.

I hurriedly grabbed my phone and dialled my best friend.

A few rings passed and finally the call was answered.

"Sarah what happened yesterday? you promised there wouldn't be any alcohol and on top of that those stupid games that you made me play and post that I don't remember a single thing. Now I also have a god damn mark on my neck! what exactly happened yesterday?"

I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself. Yesterday was a mess that was clear but I don't remember anything after I play that stupid Truth or dare game with Sarah and her friends.

"have you calmed down?" I heard her say

I inhaled and exhaled giving a small nod "Yes"

"Good. Now listen" She cleared her throat "Since it was my birthday I took you out. We had a great time walking down the streets, looking at the colourful sky and also met our classmates"

"I remember those"

"Yes and then we walked all our way to my boyfriend David's house?"

"Um. I remember"

"Then he offered this Truth or dare game and said who ever can't say the truth or do the dare we must take a shot of alcohol"

"Ma'am I remember those. what happened after me drinking alcohol?" I asked annoyed

"You drank the alcohol and so did I. We both drank the alcohol together didn't we?"

"Yes we did but that's not the point I..."

"I don't remember a thing as well Arey! I was drunk too. just like you. I don't remember who dropped me home. How come I've changed into my night pajama and also how come I look like a whore who had a blast last night!"

I moved the phone hearing her scream

"so I obviously don't remember HOW YOU GOT A GOD DAMN HICKEY!"

"Sarah! it's not an hickey!" I corrected her "It's....It's a small bruise" I sighed flipping my hair "Anyway....See you at school"

"Yes yes Miss. We have 4 more hours until our school gate opens" Saying this she hung up.

I sighed again "This is why I don't want to go out anywhere. Argh....My head"

I'm having a very bad headache and also feeling kindda bolted.

It's not like I had never got drunk before but it was the first time in a strangers place and I don't remember a single thing.

I lazily dragged myself towards the washroom, to freshen up and start my daily activity but paused when I heard foot steps down the stairs

"Shit!" I hurriedly tied my hair into a bun and wore a scarf around my neck, wiping my face and rubbing off the dullness. I put a smile when the door opened

"Why aren't you down yet?"

"I....I was about to come down father" I said with a shakily tone

"Hurry up. it's already time for the delivery" saying this he walked away

I sighed in relief "Ah..That was close"

Me and my dad start our day by delivering packets of milk and newspaper to our nearby house.

We live in a small town called Naarden. It's a very beautiful town and these days the population of werewolf has increased and almost all the people who live in Naarden are either Alpha, beta or omega's.

I am an omega. Yes. The weakest of all rank but I try my best to not showcase my rank and also use fake pheromones to hide my identity. It's not like I hate what I am...It's just because....Nobody would offer work to an omega because we are weak and needy as per their thinking, so to provide a proper meal to my family I had to hide my identity and work.

My father is a beta and mom was an omega. She passed away while giving birth to my younger brother Arik.

Arik is 15 and I'm 17 years old. it's said that once we turn 18 we will get to meet our mate and can be loved forever but I don't believe in those.

It was true once but now It's all a story because no one these days are waiting for mates.

Example Sarah. she already had 4 Ex boyfriend and currently is deciding to breakup with her present as well.

Strange but that's the reality.

"Aery finish up the rest" My dad said placing a pile of newspaper on top of my cycle "Sure father" I smiled

My father used to be the right hand of our pack leader but since mom's death he gets drunk everyday and has lost his title.

We hit rock bottom and It was all left to me to take care of my brother.

I started working ever since I was 10. Small to big. I used to work because of money and now, We have a decent home, me and my brother both are studying and also we get to eat our three time meal. What more does a family want?

I flinched when I heard my phone ring. It was Arik.

"Wakey wakey sleepy head" I chuckled

"I told you to wake me when your going with dad didn't I?" He sounded like he just woke up

"Yeah yeah. I didn't want to wake someone who was drooling"

"I wasn't drooling!" I could imagine him pout

"Really?" I questioned

"Anyways where are you? it's dangerous for an omega like you to roam in streets at 6 in the morning!" He said annoyed

"Don't worry about me. Wake up and get ready for school. I'll prepare your favourite breakfast"

"What are you going to make?" he asked curious

"Spaghetti"

"Yey! I'll get ready right away"

I hung the call with a smile and turned around but bumped into something hard which made my phone fall and me almost trip

"I'm Sorry I....." I paused when my eye made contact with those redish brown one. I gulped reading the features of the face in front of mine. Tan, Thick brows, Perfect jawline with a man bun and pierced lips.

I gulped again recognising the face in front of me. It was none other than my class rep. George Christopher. The only true blood in my class and also known as the ruthless class representative.

But....What is Mr.Class rep doing here? 6 in the morning.
