Chapter 141: A Merman

Lux's POV

I proceeded toward Alec, scared he was going to flip but he didn't. Instead, he stated that he knew I had nothing to do with the video. He then told me about another video that was circulating, showing him being wheeled to the emergency room.

Putting the phone away, he patted the spot next to him on the bed. “Come here.” I climbed onto the bed and set my food on the bedside table.

"Kiss me... please?" I chuckled, leaning in, and his hand snaked around my waist as our lips locked in a kiss that left me flushed as always, before he pulled me into a hug, which I returned, careful not to hurt him.

"I love you," he said, pulling away and pecking my nose. "The clown who took this video and believes they know what's happening when they don't doesn't bother me," he added, and we kissed again, relieved that he had not taken the video too seriously. But, with that in mind, I could not help but be angry at the person who took it.
