Chapter 40. Rumors
The footsteps of a handsome man echoed under the cover of the night, he was walking with careful steps to the bed of a beautiful sleeping woman. She looked so peaceful but at the same time, a bit tired with dark circles under her eyes.
Liam knew she had been putting a lot of effort into her training. He also knew that she hadn't answered Master Jin yet. He was happy about that but at the same time not, if she hadn't said that she won't go, then is because she is still considering it.
"Emma…" he whispered and caressed her soft cheek before turning away to go outside. He wanted to cool off his feelings for some time. They were getting out of control and he was afraid of hurting her again.
